Cowher has broken an unwritten rule of coaching. Never go after a position that is filled. I am sure we will hear about this during the week.

What ever. I want to hear all about it. Do you want to talk about the Lions game?

if what is true?.. Please post with the understanding that alot of us cannot read minds, thanks.

any fan who thinks that Ross won't take a meeting with Cowher, isn't being realistic. d*cking ownership around has not been Cowher's past makeup, why would it be now? imo it's more likely that he's using Mort to get the message to Ross/Peterson now, giving them a chance before the rest come calling.

As I stated before, while Cowher is a disciplinarian, he never had a great qb and so we cannot anoint him as someone that is going to be the guy that is capable of evaluating a qb in Miami. The fact remains to be seen if Jeff Ireland and the rest of our scouts are capable of drafting. I don't put faith in a Head Coach to be the sole guy responsible for turning a team around in terms of drafting. If we are going to fix this franchise, we need to find the next best stud qb or at least get someone in here to bring Henne around to at least being consistently serviceable.

He is putting his name out there, letting it be known that he wants to coach again and the teams he wants...

Ross has an opportunity to get a big name down here that would make people excited for dolphins football.

Currently, only a handful of people are excited for Morono ball.

This team talent wise is every bit good enough to have won our last two loses. Henning has killed our offense. And those of you who want to put that on Sparano too fine. But from what Henne did today when we were forced to throw the ball I think he can hang.

This team is NOT good enough talent wise to compete with the elites of the league, especially offensively. Now there is much merit in blaming it on Henning as that guys just plain sucks. The interior o-line needs to be revamped as well as new life in the backfield and a safety/linebacker/d-end. There is much more to do in Miami to be a full blown day in and day out elite team than just bring in a new head coach.
