I think it would suck not to play the Pats, Bills, and Jets twice a year. Even though the AFC is tougher than the NFC right now, this has not always been the case. The NFC was tougher when the Bears, Cowboys and 49ers were on top. I would prefer that they not add more teams, but maybe move some teams around. Geographically speaking it would be nice to have the Jaguars, Tampa Bay and Atlanta in our division, but I doubt the NFL will make any changes because of the rivalries.

Sport thrives on rivalries, I would be pretty upset if we missed out on playing NE, Jets and Bills irrelevant of how good they are at a given point.

Agree 100%. Keep things as they are! Rivalries have been in sports since we were school kids. Remember the 1 or 2 schools you go so pumped up for each year because they were your "rivals". Hell we may not have even known why, but they had always been rivals so we continued to be rivals. Its just like that in the pros IMO. Throw out the records, stats, and everything when the FINS play NE, NY, Buff its time to go hog wild and ape**** crazy!!! Why? Because they are our rivals and have been since the dawn of time!! It ain't broke don't fix it!!

As much as I hate to agree with you, I agree with you. We don't want to pull a Nick Saban and run off to the easier conference so we can win. **** that win here where we belong. I would miss the yearly trench battles with our rivals.

The NFL doesnt hide adding teams, and if it does take place, its a 5 year affair before anything happens.
The NFL thinks about a lot of things.

More teams = more revenue. If they could, the NFL would have a team in every 1 horse town. I look at it this way. There are 32 teams, each with 3 QB's on the roster (average). That means there are 96 QBs in the NFL at any given time. Of those 96 men how many are considered great or elite? Bringing in more teams will thin the talent pool more and make it statistically more difficult to win a Super Bowl.

This thinking is a little flawed. Teams can go from good to bad, so changing divisions or conferences doesn't guarantee anything. Incase you haven't noticed, the Saints are not the Aints anymore. I myself would like to stay put and see the Pats suck again some day.
