Some truth to that but you have to read the tea leaves…it was so bad they fired him in spite of back to back winning records. It’s telling.

His sideline demeanor always bothered me. You don't have to make everything fun, don't have to have a smile on your face all the time. I have coached high school baseball. Coached 4 teams in state championship games. Won 1. I consider my players young men. He coaches young men. Not every relationship is the same, but you need to have positive relationships with your leaders and more important your role players.

Indeed, like I said in another post, he got his nose out of joint and couldn't get over it so he tried to ostracize and belittle a young QB. Not HC material IMO.
