then why not try and trade zach and JT? I love these 2 guys, hate the idea but all of you who say we are in rebuild mode seem to think that the rebuild will be done before they retire. JT was already thinking retirement and zach isnt getting younger.

these 2 wont get to a superbowl with us. 3 years down the road when they are both gone who do we have to fill their spots? For all of you that say trading wes was the greatest thing since sliced bread, why not trade 2 people that could bring possible 1st rounders, cut our cap problems a lot and bring in new younger players.

If we are in full rebuild mode then we need to think about what is gonna happen when these two leave, and if we can pull off a JJ type trade that he built the cowboys with, why not do it?

Like i said, I WANT to see us WIN NOW, but i dont see it happening. so what do you all think?

We aren't tearing down the team and rebuilding. We are retooling the offense, but keeping the defense intact. We have signed Joey Porter and I don't think thats a sign we are giving up on this season. To many people have hit the panic button over moves that have been great ones so far.

Only one I didn't like was Mcintosh because we don't really have someone to come in and replace him. Wilkinson was questionable but due to his cap number I can see why.

we're not selling out, we're re-building. we need some blocks to build around, so we have to keep the bright spots in place and add to them.

i agree, they probably won't win a super bowl with us, and i can see a Ray Bourque scenario for both of them, but for now, we have to keep them. they are the face of the franchise

Ive Liked Every Move So Far.......especilly The Porter One....we Arent Rebuilding We Are Fixing......this Team Has Had Leaks For A Long Time And Its Kept Getting Patched Up.....now We Are Fixij G The Problem

I don't think we are in "full rebuild mode" by any means. We are getting rid of a couple underacheivers and average guys while bringing in some much needed youth. I haven't been this excited for the draft in years. When was the last time this franchise actually had a full slate of picks and then some. This is the right way to build a team.

what do we have on offense. lets review.
1. A qb with a leg thats probably never gonna be the same (not that he was ever very smart to begin with)

2. A RB that has 2 seasons that he has played in all the games. He wasnt a starter in college, and for some reason thinks hes the fastest man on the field when hes built for running into people and falling forward. (FOR GODS SAKES< HIT THE DAMED LINEMAN IN THE BACK if hes in the way. falling forward for 2 is better then running 12 yards to gain 1)

3. A #1 receiver who has NEVER put together a full season. Everyone says he has all this potential but here we are 6 years later and he only shows it in small bursts. I believe he lead our team in drops last year and was close to leading the league

4. We have no fullback.

5. We have a good blocking TE but not the slot receiver that Randy was. (he had a bad year and he was a jerk off the field but hes done more IMO then chambers has)

6. im happy with booker. I think hagan can get better but i think cam should hit him with a cattle prod every time he drops a catchable ball.

7. the oline. MY god i wont get into it.

8. OUR MAIN HOPE RELIES on someone that hasnt played a full season in 4 years. PLEASE RICKY DONT EFF THIS UP.

so what offense are you talking about? cause where im standing zach and JT WIL NOT GET TO THE SUPERBOWL IF THEY STAY IN MIAMI (unless the fly to it and buy their ticket)

Fixing? wow. I think we have been trying to fix it since we lost to the chargers and they went to the superbowl. what we are doing is putting cheap particle board over the holes and hoping no one realizes this is just a patch job.

if people realize that they wont make it to the superbowl with us then WHAT GOOD ARE THEY. THE FACE OF THE GOD DAMED TEAM. THe face doesnt mean much if you dont get that ring. TRADE THEM NOW WHILE WE CAN GET SOMETHING FOR THEM because just winning 10 games isnt enough for me. I want the superbowl

Who said we are in full rebuilding mode? The signing of Joey Porter would suggest otherwise. Think retooling and not rebuilding.

retooling without the ability to win the superbowl is a pretty stupid idea if you ask anyone that sat home and watched it.

Do you know what retooling means? It means rebuilding/getting new players. I didn't say we had an offense in place I said we are building one. Honestly I don't see what you have against Ronnie Brown seeing as he was a lot better than most backs last season, the main problem was Mularky getting away from the run.

You don't know what Culpepper will do either, he is 100% now (or very close) give him a chance. Besides the o-line played a lot better towards the end of the season, you're telling me losing Mcintosh (who was average at best anyway) and Jeno James (who hardly played) is going to make all that much of a difference?

We will miss Mcmichael and Welker but they are both replaceable.

how about ive seen culpepper play since college. He put up his great #s vs the william and marys, and UL Monroes of D1. He is not a smart QB and when he doesnt have someone open HE HAS ALWAYS tried to force the issue. The reason it worked in college was because of the competition he was playing. the reason it worked on the vikings was the #2 reciever of all time and randy moss...

My only downfall in all these moves is not getting a pick for Mcmicheal. Thats it. Losing Mcmike will not hurt. Not getting something for him is a little bothersome. But I have confidence in MuellCam and we have 4 picks before 71. More on the way? I think so.

BTW, CC was just seen in the workout room doing 40 benchpresses.

We are "refitting" this offense with guys who Cam knows who will be productive according to his beliefs. Inside to out. Ryan Kalil anyone? We trading down? We getting Leonard as a FB? We getting more draft picks by trading down from 9? I dont know, but one thing is for sure, MuellCam have a plan.........and its working as far as I am concerned.

You say you've seen Cpep play since college but how come you didn't mention the good games he had against Nebraska, Mississippi, Mississippi State, South Carolina and in one of two games against Auburn. Those are hardly Little Sisters of the Poor teams.

I do agree with you that when he doesn't have anyone open that he does try to force the issue. That is something he has always had to do and no one has made him rethink that attitude. Maybe Cam will be the one to tell him he doesn't have to win the games by himself.
