I guess my feeling is that with Feely getting the reps in practice and the o line working together for another month and Lamar Gordon playing for a month. We should be alot better come week 5. If we can go 500 until then I will feel much better about our chances for the playoffs.

HH, I agree because you're 100% correct. I don't know what we could have done to get Gordon here sooner but Feeley could have gotten the nod a month ago. Did we really need to see Fiedler get creamed by the Titans? I didn't. Weld a clipboard to his hand, if that comes loose try crazy glue.

We need to go .500 for the first 4 games and give our O-line some time to gel. Maybe this year we will get hot at the end of the year instead of the beggining.

I agree, but one of those 2 wins better come next week...because if we don't beat the Bengals, I change my prediction from 10-6/9-7 to 6-10...I mean, let's be honest here.

I have to say that is the funniest bit I have read here today. I agree with it, too. I don't want to see Jay in for at least 4 games unless:

1) AJ gets hurt

2) It is a blowout game in our favor

3) AJ's play is so brutal that it is clear he isn't ready. I'm talking 7 or 8 INT games here.

I don't think we're going to see any of those 3, so I think it's only approrpiate for Jay to go shopping at Staples so he can find the perfect ergonomic clipboard. Hey, it's my Dolphins -- they should only have the best in equipment. ;)

He'll have a clipboard in green, aquamarine, teal, cyan, orange, orange yellow, and white. Oh ya and cream white too! Plus he'll have big pompoms so he can help out the team!

The best thing a week one loss can do for a team is convince a coaching staff to drop all of their illusions and work with what they have. We can have a good or great season with Feely, even though we didn't win he at least proved he was capable of throwing the ball. Now we just need the o-line to step up.

If we can avoid going 0-3, and then go and beat the Pats. We will attain instant respect.

But that's an "if". :(

I like the moves we made in the offseason, I am excited about each game, I have hope and optimism. The only thing missing from me is confidence in this team. I just don't feel it this year, not like in previous years. I hope it means nothing but I feel an 8-8 season coming on. Where are the Tums.
