I know this would be a questionable move, But I don't think hiring M. Shula would be a bad move, esp. if Dad Shula dould be part o tfhe package, & NOT ust as a Figure Head.... I'm talkin about a somewhat "Powerful" positon, being involved in draft & F.A. issues, etc...............
Perhaps y'all could share some of your opinions on this Subject...

i would like to have cam here....... i think hes better then mora and shula...... gaily would be my second choice if we dont get cam in here

i think bringingin shula would be a big mistake, unless it was only for a one year thing so we could go after a nw coach next year but i dont see them doing that

I dont think that makes sense. If you remember Don was really struggling with the personell side of the game at the end of his career. If it isnt Cameron Marinos recommendation of Gailey is good enough for me.

I have feeling that Wayne might offer the job to Cam Cameron after the interview. I know that I am going out on a limb here. If not Cam, I would say Gailey has a good chance.

I agree, I think we should all give Shula a chance but mostly everyone here is on the Cam Cameron bangwagon right now.

With all due respect to the Don, why in the world would we want him having a say in our draft? He's not exactly known for being personell guy.

As for his son becoming HC, I will be extremely disapointed. It would be a cheap attempt into increasing fan interest. I'm not thrilled at the prospect of hiring any of the top candidates mentioned (Gailey, Mora, Cameron, B Shottenheimer, Tomlin, Shula, Capers) but there isn't much out there right now. I'm sure that there is some coach available out in the wilderness, under everyone's radar screen just waitng for the opportunity to shine. I hoped that S Pioli would have been the guy to find that diamond in the rough for us but , alas, he ain't comin' to town.

I have a feeling that next year's crop of available coaches will be rich and boutiful. Of course it's far too early to make predictions on what will happen next year but there could be 4-5 coaching studs looking for new gigs (Bellichek, Cowher, Shottenheimer, Parcells).
