I know the '06 season is not over yet, but I'm just looking forward to next year too because I think it will be a better year. Anyways, both these guys are FA's next year, who would you rather have?
 
Brigs will probably franchised, plus teams have way more money then us.
 
We have the worst secondary in the league by far on paper. Our talent is the worst hands down, no question about it, that's how bad it is. Clements.

last time i checked we 6th in nfl and how u look on paper dont mean squat!
 
Clements is a more pressing need considering our secondary and might not be franchised this season. I'd like to have Briggs but he may be too expensive, more than what we offered Arrington and there will be teams that will outbid us.
 
honestly id say Clements...because technically you can find 3-4 olb in the Draft pretty easily but picking up lockdown corners are hard to come by

Yea. That's why I voted for Briggs in my own poll! The only big plays have been from lack of Safety and Linebackers. We could draft Landry to fill the other safety spot and then grab some CB in the 2nd.
 
this team needs to remedy the "cap hell" we're already in first...truth, even with a substantial rise in the cap next year...there are far too many 'bloated' contracts on this roster...it'll be at least another season (or 2) before Miami can get 'young enough & lean enough', to where they can start to lure top level FAs to fill need positions to bolster the roster...we can't keep doing the salary cap thing the same way we have been anymore; all we'll get, is the same result!
 
God I wish we would have drafted Lance Briggs. I really liked his upside coming out of U of A.

I think when we dump Daunte next year that will help!
