Baltimore. Now we'd have the 8th pick who do you pick ? All the other extra picks don't matter, I'm just thinking about that 1st pick.

1st - M.Ryan, Balt
2nd - C.Long, St.L
3rd - G.Dorsey, Atl
4th - D.Mac, Oak
5th - J.Long, KC
6th - V.Gholston, NYJ
7th - L,McKelvin, NE
8th - _________, Miami

I'm going K.Rivers OLB, although R.Clady is a real close 2nd.

Sedrick Ellis......I think we may trade down with Cincy at #9.....and they can give us Chad Johnson as well.

I'd want Rogers-Cromartie, Keith Rivers, or Mike Jenkins... maybe Sedrick Ellis but I'm not sure where he'd play in the 3-4, I don't know much about him.

Sedrick Ellis plays the NT position for USC. I have watched a lot of PAC-10 games and he just stuffs the middle, even when double teamed. I think he is only around 6'2" ? maybe 290? He would probably have to gain a little more weight but that shouldn't be a problem. I also like Clady, the LT, from Boise State....I hope we can drop down to 8th or 9th.

Derrick harvey is a serious player and is in the mold of gholston and a hybrid olb/de we would get in either gholston or chris long. If we trade down i think we'd look at a guy like harvey or one of the corners.

Sounds good, in that spot promising NT would be solid.

umm....keep the 1st pick and just draft Long Long or Ryan. there is no way i would give it up to Balt.

why would you just barely trade out of the top 5 or 6 picks???

if your going to trade down....drade a decent ways down so you get more picks. if you cant: keep it and get your moneys worth out of it.

i dont like this trade at all. would rather have dallas...but i dont think they are stupid enough to give up the farm for one guy. they could grab a great RB with thier 1st pick.

I honestly cant see us moving the #1 pick

the best part to this whole scenario is we would absolutely get at least Baltimore's #2 as well plus probably a late rounder which would help us tremendous with filling ALL of our needs.

Rivers all the way. He's a LB that can play any system and in a 3/4 he'd be the versatile Cover/Blitz linebacker ala A. Thomas and R. Colvin (was) in New England.

This is true even if they don't trade with us for the #1 pick.

Personally I like Cromartie or Jenkins with this pick since we havent had a "shutdown corner" since Surtain and Madison. I also like Clady with this pick since he is being rated higher than Long by Experts. They all think he will have a better career at OT. But with that said this is a very very deep class of CB and OT. I think BP or TS whoever is in charge will take the best LB/DE available with this pick. Such as Derrick Harvery or Rivers. BP loves defense so if its his pick we go this way. I think Harvey since C Long slipped through our fingers.
