If we could turn back time....

We woulda signed him long term..him or Edge..I hope Brown turns out but if not this was acritical move for this franchise!!

This is a mute point. I think we tried to trade down but here were no takers. We did what we had to do.

in a perfect world i would love shaun & ricky instead of ronnie

shaun is a class act might have rubbed off on ricky.... oh well

That said, I'm not too upset to have Ronnie Brown. Although I think Ricky looks good thus far, after what he did to us I really don't want to depend on him any more. If Ronnie becomes the back we think he will, then it was probably the right pick.

If anything the Jets would like to turn back time so they could of drafted marino...
 
The only alternative to drafting Brown was actually drafting Braylon and if Clev. wanted him bad enough THEN they would have made an offer and if it wasn't good enough we'd just keep him OR select Caddilac or Cedric. I don't think there were any worthy offers to trade all the way down to the 10 spot. We made the right decision though. Ronnie can do it all and just be patient and he will.
