I mean I was at that game in September and it was brutal. All season our secondary has struggled against spread offenses and good passing teams, even KC lit them up.

If Miami did get to the SB, and the Cards hang on to their 24-6 lead over the Eagles at the half, I don't think we would have played to well against the Cards.

Would have been fun to watch though with the Wildcat in the Super Bowl.

What do you think?

i think this is a one star thread....

Well jeez man, sorry to ruin your day. Was just looking to have some what if fun talk on Championship day. How would Miami have matched up against the Cardinals in the Super Bowl? I thought it was a fun question to throw out there.

I can't stop thinking how nice it would have been to have warner come here instead of the NY giants back a few years ago.

that philly blitz isn't even bothering him today. it's really a pleasure to watch.

also, reaffirms my belief that we need a STUD WR... fitz is dominating. it's almost laughable how easy he is making it look.

I wouldn't worry about it. If he thought it was a one star thread, it would have been best to just move on to the next topic. Instead though, he felt compelled to respond to what he was already calling a useless thread.

theres over 100 pages of threads on finheaven. not all of them are going to be loved by all.

the change of tone was kind of nice. it's been a fun game to watch so far... and I don't think we would beat them. philly's D is a few notches above ours. and arizonas Defense has really come on as of late.

maybe we could have made a run though, who knows.

no offense but i just don't see a point in "what if" questions. This is if my aunt Rose would have nuts, she would be my uncle :)

But to be ontopic:

We played them once this year and got burned. And they play way better now than they did back then...

I get your point, I do, but at this point in the season with no major moves for the Dolphins happening yet, if you can't come here to talk what if's with fellow Fin Fans, who can you go talk to?

Thinking about it some, I bet the Wildcat would help keep Fitzgerald off the field and keep Miami in the game.

Could you imagine how many hours Pennington would spend in the film room to prepare for the Super Bowl? He'd probably lock himself in there for two straight weeks.

doubtful

Well we sure did not beat them during the season. Lets give them props. Now next year who knows.

Well if the fins would have won the afc beating teams like the ravens, titans and stealers I would say the fins would beat the cards but that's just a guess.

it's weird as soon as I got on here praising warner, the third qtr sucked, and I thought I had inadvertantly jinxed him. that last scoring drive was a fine display of football.

the cards might be my favorite team... were it not for my beloved phins.

i'd be loving me some warner, boldin and fitz. damn I'd kill for a trio like that in sunny south florida.

I have been a cardinals fan ever since week 2 (not a fan, but I have kept my eye on them). . . they really dominated us . . . they are the only team that has mandhandled us all season. Yea the Ravens beat us handily twice, but we pretty much shot ourselves in the foot both times.

The Cardinals whooped our *** . . . and I don't think we have the team to beat them.

We don't have the pass rush . . . even on the blitz to rattle Warner like we need to.

I do think our offense could do better against their D this time around and I don't think the score would be as bad . . . but I wouldn't bet money on the game LOL.
