...then I think I will need to take a "bye year" away from the Dolphins for the first time since I was nine years old. There are maybe 12-18 players on this roster worth keeping, and only one who is unarguably all-pro (i.e., Long, and even he is having his poorest season ever). We need to get a franchise QB, and Luck's the one. We need to get a Super Bowl-winning head coach, and Cowher's the one. Without these two guys in the fold, I will find it impossible to be excited moving forward.

My coping mechanism: I am rooting for the undefeated Lions this year (Even though I think the Packers are poised to repeat as Super Bowl champs). I never thought I would see the day where Detroit would be 4-0 and our proud Dolphins would be 0-4...

Its been pretty much all bye years the last 10 years and im tired of it. Lets a get a real coach who doesnt always play for fgs and has no balls when we are down 10 and our defense cant stop the other team and wont go for it on 4th and short.

the lions deserve it. i am also kind of rooting for the bills to do good, i like what they are doing

i am still trying to figure out how Ireland is safe!! This team has so many holes it is ridiculous. And Nolan's D is an embarassment! I'm trying to figure out how you claim Slaton at 1.2M but yet wouldn't even look at Waters, Gurode, or McKinnie when your OL sucks. Ireland is a joke - these guys play it so safe they will never be great. Cowher is a no brainer hire - wheel out the safe Ross or the celebrity co-owners won't even be going to the game.
