If we don't beat the texans this season could spiral out of control fast!

I'd rather we play on the road all year. Obviously we can't win at home.

@browns - yeah?
@chargers - tough, but they usually dont start off well early on
bye
@jets - didn't look hot vs Cowboys, definetely should have lost that game.
vs broncos - yeah?
@giants - yeah?
@chiefs - uh-huh?

I said this weeks ago...The Texans game is a must win because we have NEVER beat them and a W signals change. It would be a HUGE win and I believe set the tone for the season. If we lose to them again...I dont see anything good happening the rest of the year.

Well at least we all know that Tony does not deviate from his path. 2008 and 2009 he started 0-2, 2010 was a pleasant surprise but in 2011 we have a good chance of going 0-2 again.. Shoot, if our defense doesnt get fixed we have a good chance of starting 1-4

What blueprint?

How many QB's can run an offense and no-huddle like Brady did? Aside from Schaub and Rivers not of those QB's are even close.

Texans usually keep the no-huddle only to situations where they have to score very very quickly. I would be fairly surprised if they did a no huddle attack for much of the game unless they were in a hole.

Texans come in overconfident

They do that and they deserve to lose the Miami game, and any other game they come into thinking they are already the winners. 2010 should've taught them that.

Texans can just as easily hang 40 on us like the Pats did. The problem with the Texans is their defense. I expect another high scoring game, hopefully we'll be on top this time.

Blue print?....IF you don't know by now that we can't cover TE's then you don't deserve to be coaching.

get ready for 0-2 guys.

Things are going to get really ugly in miami real fast this year. Last night was just a start. I've had this feeling all offseason and I'm usually right with these things.

Yesterday you already had players blaming the coaches after the game to the media guys. Finger pointing is starting already. Just wait till Marshall explodes after another loss or two and that locker room divides. They Got embarrassed on national tv after spending an entire month preparing for this game. And at home against a rival.

The players were already taking a vacation on the field DURING a monday night opener last night in front of millions and millions of people watching. The body language of the players half asleep between snaps last night on a nationally televised monday nighter, and asleep after snaps, is VERY alarming ! Compare it to last year when the body language of the players was very inspiring in week one as they played very hard and tackled extremely well. Last night was the opposite. This team just doesn't want it bad enough and it's scary that it's already rearing it's ugly head so early in the season.

The body language of most of the players last night was disgusting to witness.

Miami is a pathetic 1-10 in their last 11 home games. Expect that number to be 1-11 next week after Houston comes in and rolls over the dolphins. Houston is preparing for us TODAY and they are a very confident team, and will copy a lot of what new england did, while the dolphins will be sulking for 2 or 3 days after this new england loss on a short week.

This team will quit earlier on this lame-duck head coach this year, faster than they quit on him last year after the players realize there is a 0% chance of a division title and no chance of a wildcard so early in the season starting in such a bad hole.

You can just feel it and see it coming loud and clear. This Miami team is in a lot of trouble. It would not surprise me one bit if Miami stays in 4th place in the AFC East all season in the cellar and have an embarrassing season yet again. Maybe the most embarrassing one yet .. because most of the players didn't even seem to care last night.

Combine that with the fact that this team isn't built well in the first place.

ha ha...how much do you think we're gonna see 2 te sets with owen daniels and the kid from rice this sunday??? a ton...the pats have shown everyone what we're gonna see til we show we can stop it going forward...although to me its the slot wr welker that makes everything go for that pats offense and makes it hard to adjust with personnel and match up...you have to have a nickle cb on the field when welkers out there and they can shift you into coverages barring you following him with your nickle all over the field where you get bad matchups...

The Texans' defense is better than the Patriots' defense, in my opinion. I said that even before last night. There are better athletes there and they matchup with us better than the Patriots' do (the presence of Jason Allen not withstanding). But their offense isn't better. Not by any stretch. The key to stopping an offense like theirs is discipline. Discipline above any other thing. Given the way we laid an egg out there last night, coming out and playing hard against the Texans is something I would expect, but they very well might play undisciplined, in which case they'll gash us in the running game and their bootleg play action game will put the dagger in.

texans might be a little too full of themselves after that beat down they put on the colts...one can only hope...cause yeah that d is improved...

Shouldnt we be looking at the big picture? Would it be such a bad thing to hit rock bottom, again, and get Andrew Luck? Its painfully obvious we're a mediocre team and thats being generous. Lets get Luck and a new front office and coaching staff and FINALLY we could be on the track to restoring this once great proud and elite franchise. Four months is a drop in the bucket, this season will be over and we could really have hope. Or we could win 5-7 games and be s**t once again come next year.

Fins have a great shot vs the Texans as long as they don't pass out before the 3rd qtr.

I am not worried about 5 of 6 on the road. We play better there.

If this team stays healthy, I still think they are okay even if they start 0-2.
