Drew Brees will shred our defense next week if we dont get some heat on him and get in his face. The Giants did not have a real good pass rush and the Saints made them pay for it. If our defensive guys can't get to Brees then they at least need to get their hands up and bat down some of those lower passes!!!

I didn't watch the game but it's kind of scary that even the Giants couldn't get much of a pass rush.

No doubt our defense will face a very stiff challenge but strange things happen sometimes. Maybe our offense comes out and dominates time of possestion and we get a lucky bounce or two on defense and there you go.

We need to go 2-1 over the next 3 weeks to remain in the playoff hunt so we can afford to lose to the Saints, but it would be a huge confidence boost to go in against the Jets coming off a huge upset.

The Giants today only rushed four for most of the game and got blown away. Their secondary is not very good as they are missing players, but Brees totally abused them. That Saints O-Line is very good and the only way to get to Brees will be to send five guys + for a good percentage of plays.

Pressure is the only way we can stop the Saints.

I think our Defense matches up well against him.. Im more worried about their Running game..

Their Defense is the only thing Im worried about, they pretty good...

Drew Brees has not beat Miami in his career...Jason Taylor also avgs 2.0 sacks against him..

Jeez ... speaking of BLOWOUTS. The Patriots are flat out abusing the Tennessee Titans today. Man. The ref needs to call this fight. 52-0. Brady has SIX friggin TDs so far ... and the 3rd quarter just got going really.

First the Titans had their former star QB Steve McNair get murdered by some crazy girl he was shacking up with .... now this. 0-6 today that's for sure. The Titans are probably going to have a majorly depressing season like we did in 2007. Not much NFL fun in Nashvegas this year.

the Giants passed the ball too much early on. They should have run the ball more. I dont get it.

But WC will take care of some probs we may have vs. them but I say Cam Wake gets lots of reps in 4 down line and we go into nickle coverage all game but cover the RB's very well.

Wildcat and hold them to FG instead of TD's and it could get done.

these guys have never seen the WC. If Henne also has another good game, then we have something to look up to. But we will def need 150 yds rushing at least. I think its doable.

I agree... Next weeks game may be like the colts game or worst if the defense does not step up!!!

The Best defense against the Saints is a good ball control offense, if the WC is clicking and the Fins are keeping the ball for 7-8 minutes then you limit the options for the Saints to score. Now they just need to make sure that they don't have a repeat of the Colts game and let the Saints score in a matter of minutes.
