Agreed. Sims doesn't fit our scheme too well. I almost expect them to grab Manny Lawson or possibly Chad Jackson if he is available at 13. I would love to see us sign Arrington to really shore up the LB squad and allow us to focus on BPA and the defensive backfield, but we'll see.

Ernie would thrive best as an weakside OLB in a 4-3 base defense. Much like the way Derrick Brooks does.

Height and weight arent really the problem as much as it is NEED. A 6'0" 220 pound LB can play ILB in the 3-4. Donnie Edwards isnt much bigger then that.

The scheme allows Miami to constantly protect ONE interior linebacker from blockers every play. That's Zach Thomas. A 6'0" 220 pound linebacker is going to get destroyed without 2-gap defenders infront of him, and Sims wouldnt get that.

Plus we'd have to move Channing Crowder away from his best position.

We have the 16th pick. Not 13th. But I do like Simms, lawson or jackson. Honestly I'd like to have Santonio Holmes if we go the reciever route.
