If we end up 6 - 10, which is the best pick we could have?, could we draft Calvin Johnson or the best OL man out there?

well it depends on the teams that are below us atm, but i dont see us having a worse record than detroit/oakland/arizona/tampa, so the answer would be, unless we make a trade, no.

Edit, some of those teams im sure CANNOT have a better record than us, but I cant be bothered to check atm

No. We can't get within top 5 if thats what your asking.

if we lose the next 2 adn the teams with 4 wins win the next 2 we still wont have a good spot b/c they have an easier schedule PCT wise then us. we are 536 wehre as tehy are in the 4xx range. so im assuming our best off the top of my head would be hte 7th and -9ths as the best.

We could get a very good player tho. I really hope we draft Dewayne Jarrett cause I am tired of dropped passes!

I don't think Dwayne Jarrett will be a Top 10 or maybe even a Top 15 pick. I think his lack of breakaway speed will drop him to the latter part of round one.

At 6-10, Ted Ginn is a real possibility. Calvin Johnson would be a pipe dream. CJ is the consensus #1 talent in the draft and if he doesn't go first overall its because the Raiders and Lions need QBs.

Joe Thomas and Sam Baker are the 2 names that I keep hearing as the top OL. Thomas in particular could be a top 5-10 pick and we'll be right in that range. Of course a year ago at this time Jimmy Williams and Lendale White were in the same range and both ended up going in the 2nd round.

The best personnel moves we can make next year is within our coaching ranks. We simply have too many holes to fill. We have 6 draft picks and we don't draft well anyway. All this draft speculation is a waste of time when our team's draft selectors aren't good. Draft speculation is only fun when your team is good at it.

If we are sitten in the top 10 and Joe thomas or Calvin Johnson,if he leaves, dont get to us find any1 willing to trade down...We need to create picks any way we can.

SABAN is fixing wannies mess ups.
It will take some time.I think that there are some tight players that are coach drafted.

Your crazy if you think he won't go in the top 15

not really. most scouts aren't that high on him. and neither are boomer or CK, for what it's worth. ;)

I don't know why other than he is not the fastest. I mean he will catch anything near him and I have seen alot of mocks where he is in the 10. Maybe they are crazy too. :D
