if our FO go with a CB in the first round or with our first second rounder, who you want ? and why ?

hugues or mc cauley are my choice, because hugues is a ballhawk and mc cauley was considered a great prospect before this season.

who are your choice and why ?

I like McCauly, I think he has the skills we need. I think that if he had had a senior season like his junior one, he would probably be the 1st rated CB in the draft. I think he would be a steal in the 2nd for us.

1st Round
1. Darrelle Revis - Very good corner with good size and speed. Good kick returner as well.
2. Chris Houston - Great speed and strength. Shutdown some very good WRs in college.
3. Leon Hall - Definitely improved his stock at the combine.

2nd Round
1. Aaron Ross - Solid corner, Thorpe Award winner
2. McCauley - Good speed

Later Rounds
Hughes, Brown, Wilson, Bennett

the only corner I am interested in in the first round is revis. He was a starter as a freshman, he has a fifth gear he can kick in late if he ever does get beat. He shows great form in his tackling and isn't afraid to induce contact.

2nd round... houston or ross. I think houston can bench over 400lbs. He must be one strong sob. He must be because he is pretty damn physical with the WR's. He did well against top talent, jarrett, bowe, caldwell etc etc etc.

later rounds.. kenny scott.. ryan smith, travarous bain.

You forgot Wade, Tanard Jackson, Wright. Those guys would be solid day one picks too(likely round 3).

Mccauley or Wright....I believe that from all the top 6-7 cb's in the draft none have put themselves that far from any of the other cb's.

Nobody mentioning Chris Houston from Bama here, the guy just SHUT DOWN D. Jarret, whereas Leon Hall got torched by him.

But there are no #1s in the draft this year. Alot of solid guys, but nobody close to being worthy of the #9. Wed be much better off taking Landry/Nelson and moving Allen to CB than drafting a CB

TexanPhinatic, Chris Houston was a Razorback. Yes, he's definately strong and very fast, just a tad under 5'10". Personally I prefer taller CB's to better match up against tall receivers.

IMO opinion all the CBs in this year's draft are shrimps.

If I had to choose, I guess I'd go with McCauley because he has the best speed at closest to 6'1.

To me, size is mattering more and more these days for CBs. What the Jaguars did to our secondary this past season was embarrassing.

WRs are getting taller and taller and CBs are shrinking.

First off, Chris Houston is from Arkansas.

Secondly, I mentioned him in Post #3. :D

And Hughes may be a ball hawk, but we don't need corners whose 40s are close to the same speed as Dwayne Jarrett's(not in the 1st or 2nd at least).
