If we had a horrible year....

Which college QB would you want if we had a horrible year?

RIght now I'd want Leinart. He is a sure thing. Depending on the year Jacobs, Young, and Vick have that could change. But right now Leinart is the only one who has proven he has what it takes to be an NFL QB.

Just because we had a bad year doesn't mean we'd go after a QB...there are other possiblilities...what position would we end up in picking in ?? Who all is available...isn't it a little early to worry about something we can't control anyways ???

i really like brad smith and reggie mcneil over vincent young because they have stronger arms. besides jay was more mobile then dan was but that didnt mean he was as good of a qb as dan. this is just a expample here.

Leinart!! Without a doubt. Some of the other guys may have good stats but look at the competition USC has played vs. the other guys teams, not to mention his very strong performances during big games including championship games. This guy is the real deal. I know most east coast guys dont give much credit to the teams out west but the Pac 10 generaly has at least 3 teams in the top 25 each year. Coupled with the Bowl game performances you just cant doubt this guy. We need to do what it takes to get this guy.

I would take Leak (that sounds bad) Chris Leak for QB

Tyler Palko. And with Wanny coaching him now, we can probably get him in the second round.

The way things are going in Pitt, Palko might be available as an undrafted free agent...

Wanny is such an idiot.

You have a list of one maybe two QB's and the rest are Running Backs with an arm. Also, the two who can play QB will be long gone before we pick.

lets go running back again, if we have a top 5'er...naw...its too early to think about this isht right now....we will be picking somewhere from 26-32...thats all i have to say about that.

thats the trend now..i used to think vick was cool( mike) but when i actually think about it, it does degrade what exactly a qb is supposed to do...but if thats the case...bottom line is winning, and vick did take them to the nfc championship game...so who knows,, maybe ronnie can throw? lol.

Cmon, its going to take at least 3 or 4 years to uncoach Wannestadt's poor Qb coaching. Pitts punter would probaly be worth taking with a late draft pick, he will be the most experienced punter in college ball thats for sure.
