In case you didn't notice, Buffalo is baaaad. Totally inept on both sides of the ball, aside from the Tampa Bay game, and a pop warner team can beat the Buccaneers this year. The exclusive no-huddle has been a disaster as Terrell Owens slowly degenerates his morale and patience for Trent Edwards and company.

This could be a good "get back in focus" game for Miami all-around, and a perfect opponent for Chad Henne to get his first start against. I smell opportunity, and blood, in the air this upcoming Sunday that we can finally break free from the stench of the past few weeks and get into the win column, like the woeful Detroit Lions finally did today.

Of course, if we lose, than this season is definitely in the tank, and there should be action taken. But I'm very optimistic for this game. :D

Any word on Penny's injury? Henne is clearly not ready.

If we can't win next week, we're effectively done. It's going to be hard enough now, but, it's not un doable.

I'm biting my tounge about this staff and thier practices. I shut up last year after sparano righted the ship after pathetic performances.....Now, it's year two. Tony should have this team ready to play. I really really question the no tackleing thing at TC. That just sort of shocks me.

Already listed as Doubtful for next week, MRI on his shoulder is tomorrow. I don't expect him to play.

If Henne isn't ready then he will never be ready. It's time to see what this version of the "future" looks like. Maybe it'll work out this time.

MIA needs to be able to stop TE's and WR's from catching the ball anywhere. The NO/BUF game was close until the 4th qt. Holding Brees to 10pts until the 4 th qt is no easy feat. The young offensive line for BUF though can get mixed up in their assignments if the DEF is creative enough to do loops and twists. Which I haven't seen much of this year from MIA.
MIA's holes on DEF are glaring. BUF will make MIA play a good game in the secondary. What so far says MIA is capable of doing such a thing? Gerbil is late getting to his assignments and well the ILB's are incapable of staying w/ any TE's.
MIA has to get back to the basics, and I mean just simple man on man and tackling that man. The RUN DEF has been pretty darn good. And their RED ZONE D, was decent. But they just plain stink between the 20's.
As for offense.....Simply get back to the basics but take the training wheels off the offense. Push the S's and CB's back...MIA needs to get ALL their heads straight. That OFF line fell apart it seemed when Henne went in.
OH well...enough said.

Its over if Penny misses this week. Because no team loses its first 4 and goes to the playoffs. And if Henne starts we will no doubt lose. Henne can not lead this team he is NOT a leader. OH and FYI after three weeks we are three games out a first place in the east. Man thats sure sounds familiar to 07.

At least GB gave Aaron Rogers a full season to play and progress. I believe he sat behind Farve for what 4 years? HE took over a team from Farve that went 12-4 and went to the NFC Champ. game. He then took over and failed to take GB to the playoffs last year. And now, with a year under his belt, you see what he is.
If you expect Henne to be ready this upcoming week, your expectations are basically unreasonable. But that isn't shocking. Because of all the 'bust' labels on Henne already, after a qt and half of play.

Well we were the first team to ever lose a game with this kind of TOP... Maybe, just maybe for a long time in a while, we could be the first team to do something positive... Just sayin'...

Exhibit A

Expecting him to be a leader after a qt and a half of play is silly to say the least.

We should have left White in. He could have probably gotten some positive yardage on the ground at least.

He sat three years...and he was one of the only bright spots on a 6-10 08' packer team. Give me your answer for why Stafford, Flacco, Ryan, Sanchez all have played/are playing great as rookies without sitting at all? Henne did not start and sat the bench for the majority of 19 NFL games. He should have been ready to go and prove somthing and all he proved is that he was not prepared and not ready. And that is the plain truth.

And you know this how?

I believe all those guys came in and got reps with the first team right off the bat. Where as Henne has been running w/ the second team and holding a clip board. If it Rogers was holding that clip board for 3 or 4 years matters little, he still struggled and failed to lift his team to the previous years mark of 12-4. And that was learning behind a HOF qb. You want Henne to come in week 1 and do what those other qb did being the man all through TC and then all through PS. Not surprising. You Penny boys really are losing it.

i dont understand why he didnt even play a single play. It made no sense to me. If any time would have been a good time to delve into the hat of tricks that is Pat White it would have been today.

And yet you think White is NFL ready? That opinion says ALL I need to know about you.
