My roster would look something like this...

QB: Culpepper
HB: Brown
FB: Williams (lack of options)
WR1: Chambers
WR2: Booker
TE: Peele
LT: Alabi
LG: Shelton
C: Hadnot
RG:Toledo
RT: Carey

FS: Hill
SS: Bell
CB1: W. Allen
CB2: J. Allen
OLB1: Taylor
OLB2: Porter
ILB1: Thomas
ILB2: Crowder
LE: Roth
RE: Holliday
NT: Evans

Now, assuming we have no other big FA signings and we use the rest of FA to aquire depth, "Quantity over Quality", and fill the FB and TE spot. (yes they are important to Cam, but the Chargers got Neal from FA and Gates as an undrafted FA, they are not priority positions). Then we use the draft to fill in the weak spots in my suggested roster.

Obviously, all of the players above are not going to step it up like they do in my dreams. I think the biggest question marks are: LT, RG, CB, NT, and LE. I prefer to take the best player available in the first round, so it depends on who is still on the board. Now there are a million scenarios on how to address these holes, but these are some of my favorites:

#1
Rnd1 - Alan Branch or Amobi Okoye, NT
Rnd2 - Marcus McCauley, CB
Rnd2 - Tony Ugogh, OT
Rnd3 - Quinten Moses, LE
Rnd4 - Josh Beekman, OG

#2
Rnd1 - Levi Brown, LT
Rnd2 - Marcus McCauley, CB
Rnd2 - Tank Tyler, DT
Rnd3 - Samson Satele, OC (move Hadnot to RG)
Rnd4 - Baraka Atkins, LE

#3 (doesn't fill all the holes, but is sexy)
Rnd1 - Gaines Adams or Jamaal Anderson, RE (move Holliday to NT)
Rnd2 - Sidney Rice, WR
Rnd2 - Brian Leonard, FB
Rnd3 - Josh Wilson, CB
Rnd4 - Trent Edwards, QB

I don't think Quinn falls to us, and I don't want to go corner in the first round (bad experiences). I know all of these guys won't fall to us, but what do you think? What would you do? I am sure you all will also disgree with the roster, but the point is to look at what have, what we need, and what we can possibly do? So let me know what you think.

I don't think CPep ever plays a down for us again.
Hopefully.

nice

dude i like something like me read my treads....(dolphins make playoffs if they follow this plan) and (dre bly still reachable)

i like your 1st option for draft mixed in with the last one lol...

now add moss and bly via trade and we are set...

Looking at our team, we have a lack of defensive lineman. i am really hoping for Branch to fall to us at #9. I like your #1 draft option cept i would like to see Kevin Kolb in there at QB round 3 or 4

Yeah, but are any FBs on the team right now? I just filled that spot with optimism, based on a lack of options, you can fill in Minor or the guy from Navy (Eckel) if it makes you feel better. I think you missed the point.

At least give the guy one more chance. He wasn't healthy last season.

Healthy or not.
Cpep doesn't fit Cam's offense.
Why would we even think about looking at Green,if
Cpep was in the plan?

I thought the DL was our deepest unit?

There's no way in the world you could have RW as a fullback.

He's a decent blocker and thats it.

I'd rather shift Brown to blocker since I think he does a better job there and make RW the running back since I think at this point he's still the better runner.

Jason Allen isnt a corner.
Ricky Williams is not on the team yet, and might not ever be again.
David Martin will probably get the start at TE.
Renaldo Hill is reportedly on the trading block with Carolina being interested.
And Toledo and Shelton need to be switched. Toledo was outplaying Jeno James last season for the LG spot, and Shelton did well at the RG spot at the end of the season, there's no reason to make that switch.

Jason Allen may be a corner, we don't know. I hope becomes a good one.
Everyone who comments on Ricky at fullbacks should see post #8 and stop.
David Martin may get the start, good comment.
Hill is on the block, but is not traded yet. Who would we replace him with?
LG - Toledo, RG - Shelton, sounds good to me.
You didn't say anything about how you would address the weak spots which was the point of the post. What do you think is out biggest hole? Who would you draft?
