I do not think we get asomugha but what if al davis does something stupid like not putting the tag on him and cameron wake turns out to be the next LT?I How many wins do you think we have with the hardest schedule in the nfl?.Think about it, the best cover corner in the nfl and a complement to joey porter on the other side.Its nice to dream but you never know what can happen in the offseason.If you told me opening day would be brett farve against chad pennington I would of asked, what are you smoking.
 
He doesn't play 11 positions on defense. Teams have shown that they can pass against us and as well as running the ball against us with the defensive line that we have, unless we take care of the NT position then we will be as good, but better record than the Raiders in 2008.
 
I did mention cameron wake in this post also.If we have a shutdown corner the strong safety can cheat closer to the line of scrimmage which could help slow down the running game.I do agree we need a nose tackle to groom but hopefully that will be addressed in the draft.I was also wondering if matt roth could be moved inside to help with the run.

We would go 15-1. Our only loss will come when we get disqualified against the Patriots when Cameron Wake tears Tom Brady's head off and drinks his spinal fluid on the field.
 
Now thats the kind of attitude I was hoping for.I want to believe we have a shot next year to take it to the next level.
 
Settle down!!!!This is a what if thread.I never said it was going to happen.
 
If it happened we would have a phenomenal D especially if we got Delmas or another good safety in the draft. That would make Asomugha shut down one side with Delmas roving for INTs and big hits. It would also allow Bell more freedom and Will Allen can definately cover a number 2 so our pass defense would be sick. Not to mention if Wake catches on like everyone says we would have a ridiculous pass rush so we would probably finish in the top 10 defensively with a probable run to the playoffs.
