I think it's a a tough one. Guess I'd have to wait and see who comes out of the potential Taylor deal.

While I love jason we can get some nice draft pick(s) for him and fill his position. I would say that is a good thing... emotions aside

i like JT alot, but if you could get great value...you have to get younger when you can. and with this years DEs...you have to pull the trigger. Best case scenrio, you get a 1st/2nd rounder and maybe another pick 4/5?

parcells is only going to trade JT for an enormous profit . i don`t see a pace for JT thing . if we get pace I beleive we will have a lot of depth . but i dont see JT going anywhere unless someone gives us a great player plus picks . it`s a lot to give . can happen ? yes ..but not likely .

Assuming you save money on Pace, get younger and get a first day pick in trade... I think we are better off, as much as I LOVE JT.

I'm thinkn we wouldnt get more than a 2nd for JT given his age but although Pace had a great year last year by definition right now he's a one year wonder. Wouldn't slap the permanent label on him yet but that just what he is right now. I have some strange feeling the Tuna can turn this team around a whole lot faster than most think and although i love JT's value and well JT himself it's just so hard to imagine getting better by getting rid of him.

Easy to like the deal now, Im sure they'll be a huge backlash at some point next season when we're struggling and our heart and soul on D is gone...

Havnt i read on here earlier that trading JT right now is a non-starter regarding value?

Not sure why people think we have too many LB's.

The OLB's will be Pace and J.T. with Porter moving to one of the ILB spots.

Big question is.....does Crowder lose out in all of this? At the very least he's competing with Torber now and may still become irrelevant later.

How did that work out for us last year with that heart and sould combo?

Not to beat a dead horse but this is where we used to make the mistake. We need to trade him while we can get something for him.. We are not going to the superbowl and Jason stuggled alot last year.. Let him go to a new team and have a shot as well.. but only if we get some real value..

It could also mean we go OFFENSE with the first pick (via trade or pick). We could easily swing a trade with Cleveland (one on one) or that Dallas+Cleveland+Miami trade. It could also mean we go OT #1 or Darren McFadden #1. With getting Pace their is no NEED to get Ghloston or Long at 1, but WANT is another thing. A move like that just gives us way more options with the first pick.
