If We Still Had Sparano We Would've Gotten Peyton

I have seen a lot of absolute silliness on this site over the years, but this one has to take the cake!

C'mon guys....we have to quit with all the conspiracy theories, the what-ifs, could-have-beens, etc. Manning got hurt and the Colts ended up with the worst record ensuring them a shot at Luck. Had the Vikings and Rams not won a couple meaningless games the Colts likely would not have gotten the first pick, and Irsay likely would have resigned Manning to finish his career in Indy. Not getting Manning may turn out to be a blessing in disguise....we won't have to shell $90 million to a player who may never be close to what he was. Only time will tell how Manning does wherever he ends up...but I think we could have just as much success with Flynn, Moore, or maybe Tannehill.

If Sparano was still here, Peyton would of never even met with us. Does anyone really think that Peyton would want to play for a team that has a coach who gets hard on for field goals.

The way its shaping up, the highlight of my 2012 season is going to be enjoying watching the JETS fans suffer from having the deadly conservative combo of fat Rexy and fist pump Tony, and giving Sanchez an extension. I can sit here and imagine them roaming on the sidelines now, with Tony calling running play after running play, and trying to improve the no talented Sanchez. And Rexy eating a hot dog, then all of a sudden, it begins! Tonys fists start to shake, the ball is snapped, its between the uprights, and the fists start flying, almost knocking Rexys hot dog from his fat mouth. Im REALLY looking forward to the media abusing Rex, Tony, and Sanchez. The JETS will suck, and the Just End The Season chants will be back before we know it. Wonder what the odds are they draft O line in the 1st.

Joe Philbin is eerily similar to Cam Cameron; he was a sheepish offensive coordinator for a regular season champion turned playoff disappointment (Chargers)

Edit: see big difference between the two teams; Aaron Rodgers

That thought has been bugging me too, down to the emphasis on 'high character'.

Cameron always seemed kind of too high on himself though. I remember watching him on the sidelines when he was with the Chargers. Philbin seems more grounded, but I don't really know the first thing about him. I'm hoping for the best.

It is a drastic thing though, to completely change the Offense AND Defense in one off season. It's almost like Ross is handicapping the Dolphins from really getting off to a fast start. I thought they should have kept Nolan and promoted him or brought in McCoy and capitolized on his experience with Moore and what he was able to do last season with that space cadet over there

This is a serious contender for worst thread ever. It reminds of the Wannstedt and Fiedler supporters who clung to their hopes.

Peyton saw that the Dolphins have a inexperienced coach, who wants to remold a team that was already solid. Sparano and Ireland had everything put together besides the QB position. I believe if Ross wouldn't have been so after a "splash" the splash would've came to him. I swear Ross is mildly retarded, and is ruining this franchise one debacle at a time

We don't have Sparano anymore. Our Head Coach is Joe Philbin and if Manning didn't want to sign here then so be it. We will move on and build on what we have now.
