We better take C Johnson!!!! Quinn is not worthy of trading up for then paying him 25 million dollars in signing bonuses....

C Johnson is a sure thing if you ask me, so I could see giving up picks to get him although I love having all these 1st day picks and I would perfer we just stay pat at 9 and keep our picks.

As impressive as Johnson may be, we're much more desperate for a franchise Qb. I highly doubt we'd trade up into the #2 spot for Johnson. It's going to be Brady Quinn!!...:cpatch:

PHINZ RULE!!!!!

I would draft J. Thomas, because neither Quinn nor Johnson will be any good unless we have an acceptable o-line!

Yeah I love CJ, but we really need the future QB for the franchise. And thats Quinn!!! Now, if Quinn is gone, and we trade up for CJ, I wouldnt have a problem with that either. But i think we really need Quinn.

i would love johnson, but if the raiders trade moss, i feel they will take johnson first.

No way in h*** would i want us to trade up to #2 and draft Thomas and pass on Quinn or CJ...No way do we need to do that!!!

Without a solid o-line, you simply have no time to throw the ball and no room to run the ball! With last years o-line we could have had Manning, Harrison and LaDanian Tomlinson and still we would have lost the same amount of games! (slightly exaggerated)

Quinn has cumbled under pressure his whole career, Miami traditionally has allowed pressure to get to the QB's..

Trade away picks and pay him a boat load of cash?? No thanks.

Oh I understand that completely...however, its much easier to get a quality O-line than it is to find the franchise QB for the next 10-15 years. Those just simply dont come around that often. Plus, most of our problems in the sack area last year were early on, when the o-line was trying to gell and Houck was trying to find out who went where. That along with the combination of very bad indecision by our QB. A good QB gets rid of the ball much quicker and thereby avoids the negative yardage plays...Simply put we need a franchise QB.

Where has he CRUMBLED? Have you really, really, watched him play? This guy doesnt crumble under pressure at all. You cant blame the QB for the teams shortcomings, or give the QB all the credit when he plays on a great team.

The same crap was said about Manning in college because he didnt beat Florida. The same crap was further said about him until this year when he won the super bowl.

Teh same crap was said about Elway until his super bowl championships.

The same crap about Danny Marino...on-and-on-and-on...

Believe me, i woud love to have a franchise qb like Marino! But i think that the Combo Thomas and Culpepper would fare better than Quinn and Alabi. Because CPep needs time to make his decisions and Thomas would give him just that. And Quinn may need a little less time, but i´m not sure how long Alabi would hold up against some good RE.

All we can assume from the draft is the potential of the draftee...and therefore I pose to you the following question. Would you pass up a "potential franchise QB" for a "potential franchise LT"???

Not me bro!!!

Wow!! did YOU not watch many games?? He was pressured hard in the Mich game USC, UCLA, and obviously LSU.....

Why is it he struggled against every good defense he faced??

He will be good in the right system but he cannot elevate a bad offense like we have had here in Miami.....

Are you ignoring that we would be giving up alot to move up that far?? And that he will hit us up for a huge pay day???

HE IS NOT WORTH ALL THAT AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cameron needs a young Qb to groom, and one who will fit within his offensive system he's brining to Miami. As of today, all indications are pointing towards us trading up for Qb B. Quinn, and I couldn't be more stoked!!!....

PHINZ RULE!!!!
