If we truly are rebuilding...why the hell is Jeff Ireland still here?

if we're rebuilding just 4 years after Ireland and his regime first came in to rebuild in 08, thats means that regime FAILED. Parcells is gone, Sparano was fired...why is Ireland the only one left? why does he deserve to LEAD another rebuilding process? Can you honestly say he did a better job as GM than Sparano did as head coach? no you can't, they both sucked. if anything you can actually argue personnel was a bigger issue than coaching.

we should have brought in a new GM with our new coach Philbin. then we could have started fresh, and i think the fan base wouldn't be so angry with a rebuilding process because then finally all the pieces from the former regime that failed miserably would be gone.
 
It's not often the same GM gets to rebuild his own failed rebuild.

DEAD ON. this makes no sense.

and how does it work exactly, since we are rebuilding does that mean that if we go 5-11 next year, Ireland is gone? if we had a new GM and went 5-11, its not that bad because we are rebuilding and its gonna take time for the new GM to makeover the team and get his type of players in here.

but our old GM is still here. so does Ross still think we're in win now mode? does Ireland think we're in win now mode? does Ireland get another 4 year term like the president?
 
ireland may only have one true fan, but luckily for him it's Stephen Ross, owner of the Miami Dolphins.
 
the only ones who said we are rebuilding is laconfora and lombardi. just because we got rid of a headache in marshall they said this. we got rid of one player and we are rebuilding....some people are just not very wise.

We are building around Moore, Gerrard, and Hartline.
 
Good one. I think the team is not rebuilding. however, we are rebuilding around Moore and Gerrard till we find another pro bowl QB like Dalton.

It doesn't matter who said it or if anyone said it at all. This team is rebuilding again with the last remaining bozo left from the Triflop.

They traded away the only receiver they had for a couple of 3rd round picks, cut the leader and best safety in the secondary, and just brought in a completely new head coach, assistants, and a new scheme on both sides of the football. Miami STILL doesn't have a quarterback worth a piss. If they happen to screw up and get one, he'll be a rookie.

It's not possible to deny that this is a team in rebuild mode. The reason they're back in rebuild mode is because the rebuild that was started by the Triflop 4 years ago was flawed... it started with the blunder in your avatar.

The problem is, Ross is letting the same moron who causes him all this grief in the first place to spearhead the rebuild of his own rebuild that just failed. If the owner had any sense he would've made sure that Ireland was carpooled off the premises along with Sparano.

I tried to tell all of you in denial way back in the Jeff Fisher threads that Ireland was going to end up costing you more good coaches and players than he'll ever accumulate.

It was the Tuna's regime, not Ireland's for many of those years. A lot of you Dolphin fans need to get that through your thick skulls.

sorry im not buying that BS excuse.

the funny thing is you Ireland defenders prop up guys like Jake Long, Odrick, Vontae, as as proof that Ireland has found talent but when we bring up bums from those same drafts like Merling, Pat White, Pat Turner, Shawn Murphy, AJ Edds, John Jerry etc etc... then it turns into "oh well those were Parcells picks!" ....sorry cant have it both ways.
