Sit the QB for almost the season atleast...........and if that doesn't work draft another every 1st freaking round draft a DAMN QB!

just trying to make myself feel better.Tahsks it does help to remember those drops

There wasn't an option for "be pissed for losing out on the 8th best player for the 64th in the draft" :p

None of the above. Play the best QB available. If tannenhill wins the QB battle in pre season then start him right away.

If we pick him at 8 he better damn well be better than i think he is.

I do not agree with tis idea of sit him because he hasn't got enough expierence. The problem with tis way of thinking is . It's imposible for him to get experience sitting on the bench.

He can be taught the finer points of playing the position by being the #2, same as Rodgers in Green Bay. When his number is called he'll know how to play the position he'll just have to put it in practice and get the experience.

Sit for one season. Start him the next season.

The safest 1st-round pick "for Ireland" .... would be a "best available" position player. A player 'starting' with success will help him hang on to his job.

If he takes a QB that doesn't pan out ... he's in trouble ... the wolves are already baying at the door.

Of course if that QB pans out, we'll all shut up!!

And that's probably the reason he doesn't take chances and prefers safe picks in the first.
