If we win < 4 games this year, what are realistic odds Tannenbaum gets canned?

Simple question, what % chance do you think Tannenbaum gets fired if we win 3-4 games this season? Unfortunately I only give it about a 2% chance right now, but I'm hoping I'm wrong and it is more likely than that. This roster is hot garbage top to bottom at just about every single position. Maybe a different coach squeezes out an extra win or 2, but no one outside of Belicheck is winning with this team. This is a personnel problem all the way...not sure why everyone can't understand this.

What do you guys think?
 
Unfortunately, We've learned already you can't get rid of a GM only and expect a new GM to come in and retain what's already in place. If he goes likely so does everyone else and I doubt Ross does that to Gase. The coach is going to get his 3 years which means the GM is here for that long as well.

I would even be ok with Tannenbaum gone and letting Grier actually make his own choices. Not that he has done anything impressive or that I have much faith in Grier, but Tannenbaum needs to be completely gone, no overseeing anything football related unless its just sports science. And even then I wouldn't trust him to stay out of the way.
 
Tbum is universally despised by the fanbase. For good reason. If Ross has even an ounce of sense he'll realize he got conned by a conman and kick Tbum to the curb.

The sad part is the whole fan base knew it way ahead of time when Tbaum started nosing his way in the door and snaking his way to the top. We all saw it in the works. And with NO successful prior body of work. Left the Jets in shambles. I don't have the hate for Ross that most do bc i truly believe he wants to win, and he will spend anything to do so, which is critical for the owner of any team. However, he seems so gullible at letting people talk him into stuff, which I know cant be true, but just hard for me to grasp why he would have ever considered Tbum in first place. I still remember him calming the fans saying Tbum will have no position football related about a yr before he was hired.

He fired Sparano and retained Ireland prior to that. He has a record of half assing it. No reason to think he'd get it right this time which is a total reset.

fire the GM one year, the Head coach the next, fire the GM, Fire the HC, GM, HC.... if you are going to clean house clean house don't **** around.

I don't see any way that he fires Gase after one season. As much as I wanted the full reset for the last 3-4 yrs, I would still give Gase a chance to build his team. With the amount of interest in Gase last offseason by multiple teams, I would think a lot of VP candidates would be fine keeping him. And if we were to just eliminate VP all together and hire a new GM they would likely keep the power separate like many teams do.

I still dont know if its worse having coach/GM report directly to Ross, or report directly to Tbum...its like choosing between HRC and Trump
 
I have a gut feeling that Tannenbaum either has his role reduced significantly after this season, or is gone.

That would almost be worse. Kick his fat useless ass out the door completely. Escort him to the state line and throw him the **** over it.

That's what he's always done. He has never clean house.
He fired Sporano but kept ireland
fired ireland but kept philbin
fired philbin but kept tannedumb

he does everything half assed and that's why we're here now. Amazing they told us from now on there would be only one vision which it would be ok in some cases but when that vision is tannendumb you're ****ed.
He messed up 2017 already. Let me explain. He used 3 picks to draft Carroo including next year's 3rd and 4th round pick. That alone was bad but it goes way deeper. First, we knew this year at best he would be #4 which he is. Now in order to make the trade worth something Carroo will be our 3rd next season which means they will let Still walk as a free agent. Now Still is not great but does have speed and you need that to open things up under. Carroo is not a speed guy so that leave us with only Parker. Now the other team's DC are not like ours who's only have 1/2 a brain so they will double Parker with safety help over the top so where do the big plays come from then? So in a sense we'll be back looking for a speed WR again so he wasted 3 picks for a guy that will never make us better and in a sense will make us worse on offense plus we still have all the other holes we already had but two less picks which at this time are looking like top 5 picks in each round....**** you tannedumb you moron

There is absolutely no logical explanation to keep Tannebum....He is horrendous...AND to be honest I can't stand the look of his face.
