Will expectations go through the roof? Not to get ahead of ourselves, but I would think that only playoff caliber teams have the ability to beat both NE and San Diego with the talent those teams have. Plus the mindset of our players would probably change too, from hoping to win to knowing they can compete with anyone. I know the rebuilding has just begun, but a win this weekend would really accelerate the process.

If we win on Sunday, the Jets loss gets even more bitter. But i think a win would at least get some of those ridiculous aspirations some people here have a little more within reach. If we beat San Diego you'd have to assume we could win 7-8 games?
 
If we win on Sunday, I will drink beer. If we lose on Sunday, I will drink beer. To recap, the Dolphins will play football and I will drink beer on Sunday. PLAYOFFS??? Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves just yet.

If we win against the Charders on Sunday I will expect at least 10 wins and a good shot at the playoffs.
 
As with any win here on FinHeaven, people will be calling this team playoff bound. Just like with a loss this weekend, people will call for Sparano's head and say we're the worst team in the league again. It will be the same every week until we are mathematically eliminated or have indeed clinched a playoff spot.
 
If we win against the chargers, i will be holding my breath. We've seen this team win big games and then turn around and lose easy ones.

Lets say we beat the chargers...how much would it hurt to then turn around and lose to the Ravens? Cause, think about it. We already got destroyed by the Cards and then the following week we destroyed the Pats. One win isn't going to change my viewpoint of this team. A few wins in a row will.

Not to take anything away from our beatdown, but the ability to beat the Rats WITH Tom Brady, not Matt Cassell...

Take it 1 game at a time. If we win we will be 2-2 and there are still 12 more weeks to play. and if we win, I hope people dont start screaming playoffs because there are still 12 more weeks to play.

Drinking beer is a beautiful thing my friend...I have to agree with your drinking statements
