Does Junior Seau retire as a Dolphin?

I know a similar thread was started recently.

I also know that it is virtually a given that he will retire a Charger.

But what if we win the SuperBowl?

ya man he will retire a Bolt. but i think we make the playoffs but the superbowl??

The thread is not "We will win the SuperBowl".

This is a hypothetical situation.

If we were to win the SuperBowl, would that affect where Junior Seau retires?

hes a charger. how many seasons did he play as a charger?? yeah. hes a charger.

We will win The SUPERBOWL. Hell more than half the teams that win the SUPERBOWL didnt think they were gonna win it.

Exactly what I was about to say. I refuse to predict anything about anything this year, but 99% of people never "think" the team that wins the superbowl was bound to win it from the beginnning of the season. That being said, eF those eF'n jets.

edit: Oh yea...Either way I think Seau retires with SD.

To answer the question that everyone is going off topic from

If we win the Super Bowl I think Seau will still retire a Charger. If we win back to back then maybe just maybe Seau goes in as a Fish

Seau will always be a Charger in his heart. His prime with with them and that was where he did his thing. He still does his thing here, but not like he did when he was with the Chargers.

So a SuperBowl, the only REAL immortal legacy, will have no effect on his retirement?

I mean, this is what everyone seems to be saying.

I disagree completely.

I think that if he wins a SuperBowl here, be it this year, next year, or a year after that if he stays, that he will seriously consider where the highlight of his career was.

He's not playing for the glory right now. He's playing for the SuperBowl ring.

It appears to be the most important thing to him. More important than stats and more important than where his HOME is.

I think his retirement is tied to a SuperBowl win first, longevity second.

I've said all that I wanted to and I thought there'd be more debate on this.

Junior Seau will retire with the Chargers unless he has a chance to retire as a Champion.
