To me it depends on where we draft. I'll go out on a limb and say we dont draft two QBs so basically they are in order and what pick we would have to use. I want to draft a QB and Matt Ryan is my first choice buit if we pass these are the others
Matt Ryan with the 1st - Ready to start by the end of the season. Needs work on pocket footwork and reading underneath coverages. Interceptions are way overblown. Had no receivers that could seperate and was force to take chances. Cut that number in half and that's what he would have had if he had Woodson's and Brohm's receivers
Brian Brohm - mid 1st - If we trade down (think its virtually impossible) Brohm is a machine. I'm a little concerned about his injuries. Seems a bit more frail than Ryan body type wise but I could be wrong. We'll see at the combine whast they look like without pads
Joe Flacco - 2nd (a) He has the most potential of any QB in the draft. He has a Marinolike howitzer for an arm and as quick a release as you'll see this year. He also has tons of work to do to become NFL ready. footwork, scheme recognition, pocket presence. Is at least a two year project and probably three. Huge bust potential. But with an arm like his that comes along so infrequently, he's worth the risk IMO. In a weird way he's my favorite prospect but Ryan is the surer thing. Think he'll be overdrafted and that's why I have him so high
Chad Henne - 2nd (b) - Not crazy about his college career and how he played but he seems to playing well now that he's healed from his injury. Can make all the throws. Little erratic
Josh Johnson -4th If epass on everybody this is the next QB in line for me. Another two or three year project but the physical skillset is there
Bernard Morris 7th or FA - Raw RAW Raw. All the physical skills you want but at least three years of learning the game.
