G=We shouldn't draft a QB;I like what we have

Brian Brohm.....no doubt

Matt Ryan struggled in college throwing 19 INTS completed less than 60% of his passes this year, and he didnt win a bowl game.

Brohm picked apart defences and won a Orange Bowl aginst Wake 2 years ago. Louisville was playing bad in the 1st half and Brohm led them to the win with like 250 passing yards in the 2nd half.

I have a hunch that Booty is gonna be a good pro

I would say Booty or Flacco

To me it depends on where we draft. I'll go out on a limb and say we dont draft two QBs so basically they are in order and what pick we would have to use. I want to draft a QB and Matt Ryan is my first choice buit if we pass these are the others

Matt Ryan with the 1st - Ready to start by the end of the season. Needs work on pocket footwork and reading underneath coverages. Interceptions are way overblown. Had no receivers that could seperate and was force to take chances. Cut that number in half and that's what he would have had if he had Woodson's and Brohm's receivers

Brian Brohm - mid 1st - If we trade down (think its virtually impossible) Brohm is a machine. I'm a little concerned about his injuries. Seems a bit more frail than Ryan body type wise but I could be wrong. We'll see at the combine whast they look like without pads

Joe Flacco - 2nd (a) He has the most potential of any QB in the draft. He has a Marinolike howitzer for an arm and as quick a release as you'll see this year. He also has tons of work to do to become NFL ready. footwork, scheme recognition, pocket presence. Is at least a two year project and probably three. Huge bust potential. But with an arm like his that comes along so infrequently, he's worth the risk IMO. In a weird way he's my favorite prospect but Ryan is the surer thing. Think he'll be overdrafted and that's why I have him so high

Chad Henne - 2nd (b) - Not crazy about his college career and how he played but he seems to playing well now that he's healed from his injury. Can make all the throws. Little erratic

Josh Johnson -4th If epass on everybody this is the next QB in line for me. Another two or three year project but the physical skillset is there

Bernard Morris 7th or FA - Raw RAW Raw. All the physical skills you want but at least three years of learning the game.

Good analysis. If you went out further onto a limb, which one do you think is the most like a Parcells kind of guy. Someone he'd want on the roster to eventually take over?

Flacco.

I had high hopes for Ainge but he has been sucking at the Senior bowl.

LOL. This limb is getting shaky.

I think the five QBs who are Parcells types are Ryan, Brohm, Henne, Ainge and Flacco.

I think Ainge may have played himself out of getting drafted by Ireland by his play this week at the Senior Bowl. He was always erratic in college and he has alot to work on

Brohm is probably off the board simply due to where we draft. He's probably not worth an overall first and wont be available at 32

Which leaves three. Honestly, I could see any of them but I think Ryan is the guy Parcells will bring in when all is siad and done. He's safer than Flacco and bigger than Henne

None of the above. We spent a 2nd on Beck and he hasn't played enough yet to be able to evaluate him. So which draft pick do you want to waste? The second round we took Beck with if he turns out the way everyone hopes or this years when we take a QB we might not even need?

Well, Flacco seems to be even further behind than Beck, so if he was a guy we took at the right spot I think having him on the roster would be an asset. You should always have talented players working their way up through your system. I don't want to reach for him, though, or you are defeating the purpose of adding future value at a reasonable price.
