Cammy just never had that get in your face attitude to fix mistakes. Sparano apparently does, so it's said.
If you're Sparano, what happens at practice tomorrow?
-Extra running for those causing penalties..
-I hoestly don't know what to do to the receivers dropping balls..It's just
a catch people, and you're in the NFL..

What do you do?

I hope he asks Bill Parcells for advice on this one

As far as the receivers go...I agree 100%...it's catching the football...you're in the NFL and that's what your paid to do..

You only have so many opportunities to win a roster spot, and you have to make the most of the ones you have.

I like what Sparano's message to the WR's in practice was..."Start catching the football...or start checking the classifieds".....

That pretty much sums it up..

The penalties have to be eliminated...you can't win playing against the other team and yourself. However, the coaching staff is ultimately responsible for penalties.

Maybe Parcells will have Sparano running some gasers?

What you do is get back to basics and re-emphasize the fundamentals. Players basically have two more games to get their act together or be shown the door.

IIRC, hasn't Bill Parcells been giving Hagan advice, which Hagan says has helped tremendously before last night's game.

Money talks and bullsh^t walks....

What's Hagan supposed to say? "Parcells gave me some advice but I still suck".....

This team still has no talent on the roster - less than last year. The WR corp is made up of a bunch of hand me downs. Our OL is patch work. We are not a good team, dont have much talent and probably in for another very long year. So, why does anyone expect this WR group to catch?

I tend to disagree, oline and defense will be much better, Qb play will be better only thing scares me is our wr's, cant run the ball every down but ricky and parmale look awesome.

The only way to get to the receivers is to hit them where it hurts; the wallet.

Institute a fine system:

$500 per drop in practice
$5k per drop in a game
$10k for a drop in a "pivotal" situation, ie 3rd down, in the redzone, or in the end zone.

Maybe that will get the WRs to focus on the catch.

I AM so sick of the excusses tha tseveral fin fans are making about this atrocious wr corp . ginn really isnt a good wr at all and hagan wont be a good wr eith and that is the pure truth . I am sick of th denial about our talent. we are getting better and we have some real good rbs but how good are those backs going to be if opossing defenses stop the run ? what pisses me off is this constant ripping chambers for his drop yet he made hell of alot more great catches then thse clowns that some fans call wrs .
i think hagan plays well the rest of thee way we will still be a below average team but we are getting some better players but we seem to be bringing in fullbacks and rbs and cutting them its time for stability and at some positions and its time for miami to bring in a guy who scares defenses and if you think ginn is that guy then someone will be disapointed and that is the truth no matter how ugly it looks but the truth is we need another good draft and we need to get guys that are more proven instead of these diamond in the ruff typ and that may be why we are awefull right now.
