Are team is in this position today because of stupid moves made in the past so I was wondering if you could go back and change one move that the FO has made these last few years what would it be?

For me it would be the hiring of Wanny because most of the problems seem connected to that move.

As a Dolfan in Chicago, I saw the Wanny disaster coming from a mile away. He did the same thing here in Chicago, destroying team depth and youth. Let's not let Jimmy Johnson off the hook, despite his great college and Dallas Cowboy career. He may have set the foundation for this good defense all these years, but he clearly had no clue about the offense. He didn't want Marino, had no plan to replace him, and all those running backs? Avery, Collins, JJ Johnson? Come on!

Trading for Daunte "the megamediocremaniacalripoff " Culpepper.

I think hiring Jimmy Johnson, he created a defense out of nothing but overall, his lack of comitment doomed the Dolphins, and then we had to suffer with the Jimmy Boys, Wanstedt and Turner, how bad it was? well, we took a huge gamble on a "college" coach, and we lost.

I think that regardless of what will happen with Cameron, that the Dolphins at least now are trying to do things the way it should be done, modernizing their front office and building with draft choices. No more patchwork.

taking drew brees instead of trading our 2nd round pick for culpepper

Not taking Brees or the hiring of Saban. Saban's hiring set us back two years becasuse he did not rebuild a franchise that was desperate for it.

Drafting Drew Brres over Jamar Fletcher.

Or even more recent trade up and take matt leinhart.

Well personally I think Jimmy started it. By not doing anything hardly to rebuild the offense. Yeah he got lucky on some defensive picks. But he did absolutely nothing for the offensive line that protected Dan. And his running back picks weren't all that good either. Karim was probably his best shot. And he was a one hit and down.

Then we get stuck with Wanny. Who explains why he picks a corner in the first round for depth. Sorry Wanny but you really want a first round guy to be a starter at some point in time.

Then came Nicky. Who was more or less just a name and not a real coach. But I do think he was a step up from Wanny. Of course that wouldn't have taken too much to get to that point.

Personally I think if we had to do things over again. Let Shula retire when he was ready. Hand the keys to either an assistant or his son Mike.

It would definitely be chosing to get culpepper instead of Drew Brees. Imagine if he was our QB man oh man.

Trading two 1st round picks for Ricky Williams.

Eddie Moore over Anquan Boldin

Jamar Fletcher over Drew Brees

2nd Round pick for A.J. Feeley

Any of the above
