Ok I am really enjoying these hypothetically discussions. So here is another one for you...

Say we didn't give up that 2nd for A.J. Feeley. Jay still got hurt, and Sage finished out the season EXACTLY like A.J. did. Now draft comes along and your Saban. Who do you choose with that 2nd round pick? There was a hell of alot of talent to choose from, and alot of options. Keep in mind you also have KC's 2nd. Do you take a shot at;

Michael Roos
Barret Ruud
Shaun Cody
Lofa Tatupa
Corey Webster
Nick Collins
Brodney Pool
Odel Thurman
J.J. Arrington
Mark Bradley
Reggie Brown
Mike Nugent
etc.

Or do you make a trade offer for someone like Henry or Alexander? Does this decision affect your entire draft (i.e. drafting Cody, and not Roth, or getting Henry, and not Brown, etc.)

Does your decision allow you to comfortably take a QB like Frye, Greene, or Orton later?

I would say Mark Bradley because he really impressed me in the game Monday night. Plus, we need a young WR that has alot of talent.
 
I like Roth fine, but with your scenario I'd probably take Corey Webster or Brodney Poole.

..trade for Alexander or Jamesw/ K.C's 2nd
..trade down from the no.2 for a mid/late 1st and a 1st next year.
..Draft Jason Campbell with the mid first
..Best available from there on out with a 1st coming next year
 
I'd guess Webster and then Orton instead of Daniels later (was he available then?)
 
make no sens we maybe wouldnt of dealt surtain for kc's no 2 and we would of end up with roth anyways

Well Chicago had the 4th pick, and Miami had the 2nd. So I pressume he as taken 2 picks later. But I could be wrong, who knows with all the trades that go on.

I think surtain was a CAP ISSUE, and not a PICK ISSUE.
 
If we had traded PS anyway then I would say Justin Miller or the best available CB....its a fantasy though. We better work on fixing the secondary with what we got this season...

Of course it is a fantasy, that is why it is hypothetical. One thing that makes humans so great is our ability to understand situations that have not occured (i.e. dream, etc.).

It's pretty interesting. I would have been tempted to try and trade up and get Rodgers.
