Take a look at this... I think this is him (couldn't really catch the number) attempting a half assed down block and didn't have the same mean intentions as he had on the block in question. As you can see, the DB ends up making the initial contact on Tannehill and slowing him down. Without that initial contact, Tannehill might score here. Football is a tough game, but it has to be played a certain way if you want to be successful. If I had to choose between this attempt at a down block and the block in question... I'm taking the block in question every time (Minus the injury of course, never want to see a guy get hurt)

Warning: Omar link ...

I didn't have a problem with the crack back block. He led with the shoulder...he was a little high but he wasn't trying to take the guys head off.

i´m proud to say, i can´t see the link because i´m blocked by that moron

LMAO. it was the read option play where Tannehill faked the RB going right and kept the ball and ran left. Landry was supposed to block the DB #20 on a down block but whiffed and the DB ended up making the initial contact on tanny slowing him down and preventing a possible TD.

That was a great block...don't stop just because of a bad call.

The block in question was an illegal block, And could've ended someone's career. Love the tenacity but hate the stupidity. And I definitely don't want more those. because what goes around comes around.

On 2JillsDrive, they're calling for Landry to be suspended and also for some vigilante justice by a 3rd stringer when we meet up again:

Also claiming the Fins acted like thugs at the end of the game, whining about Kiko, Jones, etc. LOL. Remember, their HC is the buffoon who put some "hot sauce" on Reggie taking him out of the game, after predicting they would do just that .. a few years back. Ironic

not a happy group of delusional fans right about now, LOL

please provide WARNING in future threads that you are linking something related to Omar Kelly.

it was a hit block that dude wasnt ready for. thats it, i honestly didnt think the block was bad itself, the fact that dude didnt see it coming made it impactful and made it look bad

That was Stills. Landry is on the backside of the play and worked his tail off by blocking for the run game all day.

And as always, no one appreciates a blind Kelly link. :shakeno:

in our opinion... what made it illegal?

Was certainly a penalty and combined with the Unsportsmanlike penalty on the taunt early . . . .they could of tossed him out of the game if they wanted to be nasty.

I am just saying, that is today's NFL . . . .be smarter than that. Play with passion but not at the expense at jeopardizing your team with penalty yardage or an ejection.

Or another player.

It's great to have a WR who will block and help the running game. Those are hard to find . Just lower the target a little and we would be applauding that block not criticizing it.
