Nice compilation!

Yes, that seems to be Philbin's main goal, protecting Tanny.

My concern is, we racked up a slew of yards last year,.. we just couldn't score. I don't think we necessarily addressed that, yesterday. I'd like some sparks to fly in the 2nd and 3rd rounds...

Point well received. However, there is no denying that this pick was a reach. A massive one at that., we really should have traded up for Lewan.

I'm not denying the line needs help. Simply saying that we could've gotten competant help later.
We need to score and make big plays. This pick does neither.

It will give us more opportunities to score and make big plays.

Don't forget the reason why we didn't score was a combo of no protection and Mike Sherman going full mo-tard whenever he got passed the 50 yard line.

This will occur to them in September.

If you go all out for a top tackle, that's one thing, but if the top tackles are off the board, and you pick high, you're not doing yourself any favors. But in the end, all that matters is that we have that position locked down finally, and we do other things...other critical moves to improve our offense. That's what will matter, not who's playing at RT any given year. What would happen if James got hurt, what would we do, forfeit? Big Picture.

Whoooo! Because highly drafted lineman work out 100% of the time! Jeff Ireland taught us that!

Line is fixed forever! Who needs scoring? Who needs stud defensive players? We will have the best ****ing line to ever play the game! Superbowl here we come!

Tanehill took a huge step forward this past year. I'm really excited to see what he can do if we can keep him upright this year, in addition to having a running game. I'm glad we didn't mess around with trading back. And I'm sure Tanny appreciates it too.

Fins up

Because highly drafted WRs (Ginn) and "stud" defensive players (Jordan) work out 100% of the time. Jesus, man.....

I know right, posters on here just dont get that lineman prospects always work.

Its not like we have drafted 3 first rounders, a second rounder, 2 third rounders, a fourth rounder, a 6th rounder and spent over $100 million on those positions after Ginn was taken.

Superboooooooowl!

Our starting wrs were drafted in the 3rd and 4th right our te late... Our rb latee
