Are you impressed with the attitude of the team?

I know, 5 turnovers, 15+ peanlties is terrible, especially on the road.

But if you think about it, our defense came back and tried there best to get us back in the game. And they succeeded. Only allowing teh Bills to score 3 points in the second half, giving way for our offense to come back.

Im sure you are thinking that what I am saying is wierd cause all those mental mistakes show lack of disaplin, but if you erase t some penalties, and take off turnovers, we win this game easy right?

When your team turns the ball over 5 times, and has THAT many penalties, you should be blown out, but our defense came out with an attitude to prove that we are for real, as did our offense,

Offense - Needs to stop making dumb mistakes (Gus staring at reciever, dropped passes [Chambers] and better execution) Take away a couple of turnovers, JUST 1, and we win this game by a point.

Defense - Also stop making mental mistakes, jumping offsides shows one of two things, agresiveness (which wasnt not the case as teh Bills killed us in the 1st half) or just plain mistakes, which WAS the case imo.

Coaching - I thought we would come into this game running down there throat. The Bills have one of the worst rush defenses, and im surprised Saban or Linehan didnt catch that. However even though the Bills have a good pass defense, Chris Chambers and company were absolutley BURNING there secondary, only poor blocking and throws kept the game from bieng tighter.

Overall Im impressed, but at the same time, disgusted because I knew this was a game we shoulda came out with a W. I mean when you completely shut down an offense that dominated you in the second half, it has to be good right? Also the same with the offense. But just because you stop em in the 2nd half doesnt mean you will win. You play FOUR quarters not 2.

Hope you find some good info and hopefully this didnt sound stupid, also great game Bills fans yall deserved this one, but I cant wait for our second meeting

I forgot to mention something about coaching, to rather pass on a good pass defesne than too run on a weak rush defense shows someone either has balls or is just stupid.

Thoughts?

I'll put it this way: I like to think that if it were the Bills who had five TOs and 18 penalties on the road, that we would have won by 30.

I'm sure they're all giddy after their win, but they have no chance against us if we actually come to play and don't shoot ourselves in the foot. Granted, we did shoot ourselves this time and we lost fair and square. But if I were a Bills fan, I wouldn't be gloating more than necessary!

not only did we have 5 turnovers and 18 penalties, but we missed our chances to recover 2 out of 3 bills' fumbles in their territory...everything just went their way this game...we've got their butts owned next time we play em this season...

True, we had every oprotunity to win and its not cause we are a bad football team that we lost, its cause we beat ourselves

It's scary for us that we had 18 penalties and 5 turnovers - it should also be scary for the Bills that in spite of this we almost won on their turf.
My question: we've had so few changes at head coach and only one real rebuilding year that I can remember (1996) since I started to follow this team- so I'm admittedly a little ignorant in this area, but are these kinds of games a natural occurence, to be expected, during a season like this? Or is it as disgusting as I believe it to be? Because 18 penalties, someone should be arrested or fired.

I know what you're getting at but that's how we were last year also. I want us to be better than that.
