If you saw the game, is Gordon our future?

I wasn't able to see the game beyond highlights and I was wondering, is it ignorant to hope for Gordon to become a start back for us?

Obviously we can never know until he plays more and more, but I'm just asking if you see the speed, the moves, and the vision there for him to truly become a 1,000 +yd back for us? How did he run? What imprsessed you? Or is he merely as promising as Minor right now (hence, not too much)?
I have to say, I was at the game and he impressed me.... He looks like a strong runner....but remember he's new to the system(for all of you that say we're doomed)... The one INT Feely through was a missed route by Gordon... I like the way he plays.... on his first carry he could of just went down for a gain of two but he fought and pulled out four. That the kind of guy we need here... This was definately a game to shake the rust off...

I watched the game on tape delayed and I liked what I saw from him. However, Minor had a couple of carries also and didn't look bad. He turned a screen pass into a 20 something yard gain which gave Jay most of his passing yards.

That is where Minor will be used this year. 3rd down, screens, draws....stuff like that that defenses won't put 8 in the box or run blitz.

When he ran he ran hard, he wasn't timid, he was patient when he needed to be, and I don't think he missed any holes when they were there. In fact he only had one mess up (running) and that was due to the damn dirt. Can't they roll out some grass (no ricky, the kind you can't smoke.) for the football games?

What I liked about him was he really hit the holes with authority. He has speed and he is hard to bring down. At one point he broke 2 tackles at the line of scrimmage only to be tackled by three guys. He ran over KEITH BULLACK. The play that most impressed me although he was tackled for a loss was the play where we were on the dirt and he hit the hole there was nothing there and he immediately went for the cutback and slipped on the dirt. He showed good vision and awareness and I can't wait to see him when he gets this O down.

Gordo looked good

Minor had a couple of nice runs/screens early on too. Maybe a RB by committee reminicest of Philly last year w/ Gordon, Minor, Morris could work out nicely.
