bet money on it (if you want). Personally, I do not think he will be back, but with those odds, I might have to put some money on him returning. Especially if you think the team will go on a run and make the playoffs. I can see Schiano easily having those odds, but not Philbin.

Will Brinson ‏@WillBrinson 3m Joe Philbin and Greg Schiano have same odds of coaching teams in 2014 (Yes +300, No -500) at @BovadaLV.

We need Philbin back more than anything the biggest tragedy about this team is that we cant keep a head coach anymore.

Mike McCarthy- " I would trust Joe with my children"

We could have kept Wanny, Cam, Morono forever, its not like anyone else wanted them. The bigger tradedy has been the front office - the people in charge of selecting the coaches and players IMO.

How did his kids turn out?

Joe Philbin and Ryan Tannehill are a package deal. Understand it, live with it.

How are they a package deal? So if we fire Philbin, that means we have to get rid of Tannehill too? What in the world are you talking about? Sorry, but I really do not "understand it."

I don't think they are either... Sherman is tied to Tannehill, Philbin just the coach of him from his rookie year on. It's possible Philbin is canned but I guarantee Tannehill would be our qb next year.

As the GM is tied to the QB, so is the coach. The owner knew going into this contract with Philbin, that he would need time. Time to transform the team from a power team to a ZBS with a raw young QB. A QB who could only be judged smartly, after a few years. Something fans struggle with (Wilson and Kaepernick), as they have unrealistic expectations.

Ross is smart enough to understand that maybe someone's head will roll, but not because of the reasoning being portrayed around here. If this team finishes strong, no one is gone.

A new coach and GM come in....does not mean they want said QB who is still learning.

If they make the playoffs he survives, other than that I think we have a clean house situation.

He will be back and I want him back - Ireland not so much.
