And had to choose between Landry and Odell Beckham Jr... Who would you pick given what we've seen by both thus far?

Call me crazy or call me a homer but there's something about Landry that many WR's don't have. He's not the biggest or the fastest but there's just something about him playing the game of football that makes him exceptional. First it's his attitude. When he gets the ball in his hands, he's ALWAYS LOOKING TO SCORE!!! Many WR's even great ones are content with getting what they can and going out of bounds, or falling down. Not Landry... The defense is pretty much going to have to FORCE him to the ground or out of bounds because he's not going there on his own .

For some un-explainable (is that a word?) reason he's extremely difficult to tackle. He's not big at all but he has exceptional balance, agility and acceleration. Dan Campbell said it best.. "HE'S A FOOTBALL PLAYER" He has an old school mentality in a new school era when it's all about being pretty, and a Diva and dyed hair and entitlement, he brings an old school toughness to the game.

And this last point is why I'd go with Landry over OBJ... HIS ATTITUDE RUBS OFF ON OTHERS. Similar to how Knowshon Moreno affected the team in his one and only game a couple of years go (or was it last year?)

ODJ may be faster, may jump higher and may be a better deep threat WR but to me... right now today... Landry is a better FOOTBALL PLAYER. IMHO of course.

Dont be silly its Beckham Jr.

If you were to redraft 2014 Beckham would absolutely be a top ten pick probably top 5.

Landry would likely slip into the tail end of the first round.

Can we never be satisfied with who's on our roster? Why must there always be a comparison or a choice between one of our players and some other player?

I'm glad Landry is on the Dolphins and I'm glad he was there in the 2nd round for Hickey to pick. That's all I care about.

I think Landry is more durable. Beckham is amazing...that would be a hard choice to make.

I'm not so sure it's a silly though. I think an argument could be made for Landry being the better football player.

ODJ might be a better WR BUT Landry in my opinion is a better Football Player!!

He not only catches passes, but he runs the ball out of the backfield on reverses, he blocks, and has better football instincts. I don't think it's so cut and dry.

I am satisfied with what we have on our roster... But this is a sports talk forum which is were you're supposed to talk about stuff like this no? If you don't want to play then don't. sheesh.

ill take rodgers cooper OBJ khalil mack and oh yea ill take brees as a backup

They are both different and special in their own ways. Landry will do all the dirty work and seems to be more durable, but defenses have to game plan again OBJ.

Like Smith21 said...Cooper...LOL

Landry is more of a natural leader. That is invaluable on a team that is somewhat lacking in leadership. In that regard I'd take Landry, because the talent is somewhat comparable

I love Landry's toughness and vision. He see's the field and sets up his blocks. I am not sure Beckham can do those things.
Landry is a good match with Tannehill.

I would have thrown more games in 2011 so we could have gotten Luck that way our fans would be calling for our 40 year old backup right now.

Landry is giving this team just what it needs, ATTITUDE. That can not be overstated. We have needed leadership for years. Accountability. You see a guy doing what he does and everybody tightens up. OBJ? Would he do the same thing here? I think not.
