wouldn't you demand that the game be played on all local affiliates? I'm sure they have some made for TV movie scheduled for that time slot and with the high demand of dolphin fans and fans that would rather watch football, this may give them good ratings especially if that ESPN game is a blowout or not very good.
 
It's that baseball series, Clubhouse. The one with Dean Cain and Christopher Lloyd that they've promoted all summer.
 
If I'm CBS I would run it nationally, it would beat out any other show or movie.But mostly cause I live in CA.Prime time game two weeks in a row would be awesom!!!!!!

Man, other than Fins and Steelers fans...not many are gonna be that THAT interested in this game. I'm sure people would prefer to watch TB-Oak.
 
If I were CBS I'd realize that the baseball show starts at 8, and the Fins game is on at 8:30 so it can be shown nationally if the dumb show is only half an hour.

And notwithstanding the interest on this board, do you really think there is much interest in the rest of the country in watching two teams who didn't make the playoffs last year and aren't going to do so this year?

Football is football, and much better than any sort of sitcom BS.
