Would you hold out for more cash, or just head on into camp with what has been offered ? I think I'd go with what's been put on the table, and get my butt in camp. I'm impatient, and the 19 mil would be calling me. + I'd want to get into camp, and earn a starting spot.

Honest answers please.

Rats !!! Screwed up on my own vote. Pretend one yes isn't there, and one no is.

But since no one here has been in the position not a single person here can state as a fact what they would do.

I think I'm being honest with myself. My lack of patients, combined with the 19 million dollars screaming my name, would do it for me. I'd be ready to do a little spending.

I'd love to say that I wouldn't hold out for more money, and if it got halfway through camp and it was still that far apart I'd probably cave, but if I were in his shoes right now I think I'd be doing the same thing.

You can think it all you want but until someone is offering that cash you have no idea.

It's like claiming you can understand and feel what it's like to be a crossdressing transgender hooker.

No offens,e but you're going to be hard pressed to find an objective voter on this one.

I'd accept what is due someone who was drafted w/ the 2nd pick. Nothing more nothing less.

i would hold out and get every friggin penny out there. Only an idiot wouldn't.

Yup especially if it's my only contract. However I just wouldn't know unless I was in the position.

 Not even close to the same. Funny though.

I think I know myself well enough. That money would be calling my name.

On the other hand, if the agent is giving him money (on loan) (which probably is the case), maybe I could be a bit more patient.

I have to disagree with that remark.

I can make more money out of football the better I do on the field. Getting into training camp on time would increase my chance of doing better on the field. Getting more yards means getting more endorsment contracts. Plus the fact that rookie sensations are given extra props by people and can easily become the flavor of the day, which of course equals more money. However starting off slow could hurt my bottem line. It might take a while to get off the stigma of being not as good as a 2nd round pick because he got off to a better start.

I dont know if it so unrealistic for one of us that are fin fans to say, You know what the hell I will take 19 million to play for our favorite team. Cadillac got like 15 million and he was a few picks behind so I dont think 19 million is getting unfair value. The first pick is by far always the highest paid. I almost feel bad for Aaron Rodgers because his fall cost him handsomely, although if he is any good they will be askin for more money in a couple of years so his contract means little. This guy is gettin over a million more in guaranteed money than last years # 2 so what is the big deal. I could understand if the Dolphins were not budgin on 15 million. The phins are presenting a good deal Ronnie should take it. Although it does not matter what we give him now his agent will be back at table as soon as he has a great season saying he is underpaid. I say keep offer on table because Ronnie has no leverage unless Edwards signs for 19 million bonus which is why he has not signed because how emabarrassing would it be if Edwards got more money, even a penny more because what is important is that Ronnie gets 23 million in bonus money..
