I'm actually pretty interested to see how we can fair in a TRUE hostile environment with a crowd that is actually loud.
We've only had 2 away games so far. Going into the Philly game they all hated Kevin Kolb and kinda just sat there waiting for him to screw up. They weren't really loud. They cheered when something good happened , but that's all. They weren't loud when we were on O or anything.
Then there was Buffalo.......Trent Edwards gave those people absolutely NOTHING to cheer about that day. If they hadn't scored on that fake field goal and made everyone cheer I swear I would have thought no one was at that game.
I know you guys will be quite loud , So i wanna see how we do.
As a Saints fan i'm hopeing we silence you early and get rid of the 12th man.
I'm not gonna lie , I want us to win , but seeing as i'm from here and you're from there........you're smart enough to understand we are enemies for 60 minutes tomorrow. Once the game is over we become neutral and I begin cheering for you guys to take down the AFC east and make it to the playoffs.
You know , i gotta say , We try to be very respectful , even though i know we've had some real Jerk Saint Fans come over here , and you've had some rather unclassy fans come over to us........but still......you're good people.
We understand it's a game where people are going to cheer for thier team to win. We both want to win. Saints fans cheer for them and you cheer for your team.....it's basic football custom.
Jets fans, however , could not fathom the fact that We(saints fans) would dare cheer for our own team....and NOT for them.......two words used a lot by Jets fans was (****y) and (Retarded). I guess we just didn't realize that we were supposed to just lay down and cheer for the jets.
So thank you Dolphin Fans.......for understanding that ,as crazy as it sounds, We both want our teams to win.......but mostly.....Thank you for not being Jets Fans. The Monday Night Humiliation was a great touch as well.
Good Luck Tomorrow.
