Dolphins are on the clock at #8. Vernon Hargreaves III and Myles Jack are both still on the board.

Who do you go with? And subsequently, who would you target in the following two rounds?

i.e.

1) Myles Jack
2) Kendall Fuller
3) Bronson Kaufusi

or

1) Vernon Hargreaves
2) Kentrell Brothers
3) Carl Nassib

No one knows who will fall or be taken early, but I hope they target:
1) LB/CB
2) LB/CB (whichever wasn't picked in rd 1)
3) DE

Hargreaves all day, every day... Best player in this draft.

Jack not being ready for the combine hopefully helps us and he slides a tiny bit. Myles Jack to me is the guy. If he's there I run the card up. Anybody else and I try to trade down and grab a CB. The gap between CB's at the top doesn't seem that huge. Trade down, grab an extra pick and grab Eli Apple or something, Hargreaves isn't the be all end all for me. If Jack is the pick, take the top ranked CB in round 2 ideally or the top DE. Depends what we do in FA first obviously. I haven't done much tape watching tho.

VH3, I dont like taking a guy in the first coming off an injury even if the knee checks out fine. If Jack wasnt coming off the injury Id say him.

What CBs do you like in round 2-3?

That is a good question. The obvious answer is it depends on what happens in free agency, but not knowing that I'd go with Miles Jack.

I do think the team will have a better chance to upgrade in the secondary in free agency than at linebacker. That, plus Jack is just so talented. I actually think he could be a 10 sack a year guy if a team uses him as a pass rusher, but he is so great in coverage too. The only thing for me is that Jack's best position is at weakside linebacker and that's where I'd put him.

That opens up an interested possibility for me. I like the idea of a 4-2-5 defense and Jack's athleticism would be a nice start in that direction, especially if the team could pair him with someone like Su'a Cravens.

1. Miles Jack WOLB UCLA
2. Su'a Cravens LB/S USC or maybe Scooby Wright/best CB
3. William Jackson DB Houston

If jacks full go for his pro day or team individual workouts missing the field work at the combine wont matter one bit when it comes to his draft stock

I think it's still unclear when he will be cleared which could work in our favor if he is the target.

Former UCLA linebacker Myles Jack will not be able to take part in on-field drills when he heads to Indianapolis for the NFL Combine next week.Jack has been able to return to running and cutting, but the full clearance isn’t expected until March. Jack said he will do the bench press and go through all team interviews and the medical check while at the Combine, but the on-field audition will likely have to wait until at least the Bruins’ Pro Day workout next month or later.

“Personally, I feel great,” Jack said. “The knee, I can do whatever I can do with the knee, running, cutting. It feels great. It feels like a new knee.

According to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com, Jack said he has not yet been cleared after tearing his lateral meniscus last September.

Myles Jack, no question. Not overly concerned about his knee.

probably my 2 favorite players in this draft ... little chance they both make it to 8 ... i'd take hargreaves.

corner is more of a premium position, and more difficult to fill. i like the LBer depth this year ... and next
