Plenty of threads here about Saban, Gus, Linehan, and what we should do differently from a physical standpoint.

Why was the team emotionally flat last night? Anybody have an idea?

Maybe they weere unprepared to due to the short week, which should have caught KC off guard but it didnt.

They were decisively beaten by a better team. That often times comes off as a team being "emotionally flat", when in reality they simply got their butts kicked.

We can't seem to overcome any adversity. Other teams, like KC last night, step up when **** happens. We never do. While we get bust making excuses, like a short week, hurricane plans, etc, teams like KC suck it up and come out firing on all cylinders.

Haven't they been the last 3 weeks? I thought it was a home/road thing, but lately no matter where they play it looks like they're going through the motions. Saban needs to get these guys motivated.

I think they thought it would be too easy. KC just arrived in miami 6 hours ago....they thought they would be exhausted and not come out and play. they were wrong i gues.

Linehan is a problem because he is not a running OC. thats first. Second, is that the players are dropping in attitude again. They dont like what they see overall as far as there own careers are concerned. Zachs words are very telling.

Most definately.......now let's watch as too many people continue making excuses for this team.

We were 2-3 coming into last night, playing a good team at home with a chance to make a mark for ourselves. How could we be THAT flat?

This isn't what Saban said in his press conference -- he said we played less fast, intensely, and aggressively than in any game before.

Marty Booker escpecially looked downtroden at points during the game. Specifically after the missed TD in the 2nd quarter.. which would've changed the complexity of the game.
Zack Thomas wasn't playing with his usual fire. even though he was all over the field making plays... He really didn't seem to be enjoying it.
That is the cancer that develops on a team that starts to lose and feels its chances dwindling.

saban needs to become more agressive with this team
