ILB Tyson Smith added to PS per miamidolphins website. I wonder when Anthony Armstrong will be added.

Tyson is a former Dallas Cowboy who was one of the players dallas cut to trim their roster to 53. Some of the local beat writers had said he didn't look bad in preseason. Who knows.

Makes sense since we only have 7 LBs on the roster, which is a light number for a 3-4 team.

It's hard to judge someone on one play, but the interception in the beginning of the preseason game with the Vikings, he moved pretty damn well for someone 6'2" and 250 pounds. He's a nice addition.

I don't understand this one. If we were going to grab a Cowboys linebacker who was recently cut, Erik Walden made more sense. I noticed Kansas City picked him up. Walden is a first year guy with potential. Smith is nearly 27 and a journeyman.

I realize the difference between a practice squad pickup and letting someone go off the 53 man squad, but overall this doesn't excite me. Walden is very good on special teams.

BTW, here's Tyson Smith being introduced to Marion Barber:

One play, who cares? Tom Brady once juked out Brian Urlacher.

I agree, this addition does not excite me either. Not because of the video either, but he has been bouncing around training camps and practice squads since 2005 and it is doubtful he is going to show much more than he already has. I'll be surprised if he spends the entire season on the PS. He'll probably be replaced when someone better comes available.

Oh, I apologize. And I almost forgot, you're the guy who says Wes Welker stinks.

How many plays are you basing that on? :sidelol:

His entire career, and it's the truth. It's not my fault if you fail to accurately interpret what you see in the games, if you've watched them.

I think that's an excellent summary, very likely to unfold just as you describe.
