And you can take that and make me eat crow in the future if you want (you won't have the chance).

I am STILL 100% behind Saban. Is the guy god? no, he's not perfect, but he's a darn good coach, and I have FULL faith in the guy.

He drafted Ronnie Brown, who is an EXCELLENT back. I read thread after thread criticizing Ronnie. It gets old to hear the criticism of a 2nd year back who's averaging 70+ yards per game and is gettting Minimal touches. He's been a great back, and I'm very excited about having him. I feel he was ABSOLUTELY the right pick.

Saban's other picks have been fine. Crowder is great, I have the utmost faith that Hagan will develope, and expect to see Roth get better with time (he's already improved). Allen is a bit of a coin toss, but I'll give him time before I judge him harshly. He got in late, and we run an incredibly complicated D and he's learning TWO POSITIONS for crying out loud. Poor guy. I think Saban's mistake here is not in drafting him, but possibly overloading him in making him learn two positions. It could hurt his confidence in the long run if he continues to struggle, but he's getting better, albeit slowly.

Other than that, I'm not a fan of Mularky. This is my one gripe on Saban. I wish he'd put Mularky on a much shorter leash. I'm frustrated with Ronnie not getting the touches, and Mularky is just.....let's just say I grimaced when I heard he's coming to Miami. That said, Saban lost his O coordinator, and had to bring someone in. I really hope he makes a change after this offseason.

Not bringing in W's in NOT necessarily a reflection on Saban. People need to get through their heads that he took over a Team that Wanny ran into the ground. We were in poor cap position, we have had MANY bad years of drafting leaving a HUGE talent gap, and have had to switch O Coordinators TWICE in two years.

Give the guy a break. Wanny deserves THREE years after this one to see if we can get things rolling. This team was in a dismal position when Saban came in, it's not an over night fix. I hope C-pep gets better, but Saban is ABSOLUTELY right in not pulling him. He's showing his genius right here (and fans the opposite) in calling for Joey. You pick a #1 QB and STICK WITH HIM. Changing QB's creates huge internal problems. Give C-Pep time to develope and adjust. It'll Happen, give these boys TIME.

I'm Officially on the Give Saban 3 more years, and sign Ronnie to a 7 year contract band wagon.

Saban is a great coach and I know people will ask me well what has he shown, he has had great drafts so far and he can't help that the o-line is god awful and Houck hasn't made any improvements either.

Co-sign

Saban is on his way and Ronnie will come through soon enough... He just needs more touches.

sabans draft picks have been nothing but mediocre.
What are you talking about, all the draft picks from last years draft are starting except for Roth and he has shown a lot of improvement and this year you can't tell yet but I have a feeling Allen is going to be a star.

Yep... Ronnie just needs to blow up the hole like a teenager at prom. That's when he'll see some real success.

What would you like him to do when there are 3 defenders in his face. This guy gets positive yards when there are absolutely no holes anywhere. Almost EVERY run play there are defenders either in the backfield or the holes are all clogged, what do you expect him to do? He is doing great considering what blocking he has been given.

still not saying a whole lot. maybe thats why were terrible. crowder, brown average. allen obviously has some issues because our secondary is bad which includes daniels. saban made mistake drafting allen.

Saban is still the man i don't care what anyone says. Yes he has made some mistakes with the personel but that dosen't all fall on him. Some of this has to go on the GM as well. He's going to get the ship on track eventually and when he does people are going to notice.

thats bull, it doesnt happen that way everytime. if he would just go forward he would get 2 more yards with his strength, but he doesnt and gets taken down where he tip toes. he even said he was going to quit doing it this offseason. its just a bad habit he cant shake.

Crowder is a budding star, can't wait to watch him the next few years. Ronnie Brown does not get enough carries! He didn't last season, and he's not next year. The idea of a powerhouse back is to get lots of touches and wear down the defense as the game progresses. Apparently the coaching staff doesn't feel that way, but if ronnie started to get 30 touches a game, you'd see how valuable he can be.

Crowder and Brown are future NFL stars, Daniels needs work and how can you say Allen was a mistake this is his first NFL season and I think he will be a great player, Troy Polamalu is great example he sat out his first year.
