He's not from a big school, so they just assume he's not good.

I don't think thats true. People don't like it because he's never played a snap in regular season and only played against practice squad players in preseason. Hes a complete question mark.

oh give me a break with these damn threads about this guy..he wont amount to anything..just relax...i hope you dont expect him to start here some day
 
that holds some validity imo. Many people discriminate on the basis of names they heard of.
 
People don't like the trade because we gave up a draft pick.
 
No, people dont like the trade because we got swindled again.. We overpaid for a guy named after a citrus fruit who is in all likelihood not an upgrade over the guy we traded the draft pick with..

He completed less than 48% of his passes in college..

we gave up a 6th round for him...

got nothing for AJ..
 
I thought the whole board heard of him? He came up a few times when people wanted to trade for Rivers. Something about the fans wanting Lemon to overtake Rivers for 2nd string.

That and it seems that most of the complainers had some fantasy that AJ would somehow get a clue and become this great QB.

no, its that we traded away a draft pick to pick up an undrafted QB project.
 
ya'll need to relax. Its a 6th rd pick and we have 3 or 4 7th's. If we had traded a day 1 pick I could understand the concern more
 
All you have to do to verify this is look at the thread from mid-September, when the writer emphasized how superior Lemon looked to Rivers in preseason. That thread was bumped here this afternoon. Even though Lemon's name was in the post that started the thread, and it was all positive, no one who replied mentioned him at all. It was all Rivers this and Rivers that. Lemon's name doesn't show up again in that thread until subsequent posts from today, after it was bumped when we traded for him.
 
All youre doing with this post is comparing stars to might be stars. Shannon Sharpe and Jerry Rice are legends. You have to wait for Lemmon to become something before you can compare him to anything. The only thing you can compare him too right now is a AJ Feeley because thats what we gave up for this guy.
