No, I am not talking about the Monkees' song. I am a believer in Culpepper. I know there is so much criticism surrounding the trade we made for him, but I honestly believe that Culpepper will return to normal form, perform well, and lead us to the playoffs next season. WE JUST HAVE TO BELIEVE IN HIM!! And I don't care if you all think I am crazy, but I believe in Culpepper, and he is a good QB. He came over to a tream with a bad OL in the beginning, but since then, the sacks have been minimal. If Culpepper can come back successfully from surgery, he'll be great. He started off bad, but he needs a chance, not the few games he played. He was also injured in the beginning, and it was a mistake playing him. So, I will continue being a Culpepper fan, not matter the circumstances, because the Phins traded for him for a reason -- he is a leader, a veteran, and gives us a chance to win!

We will see what happens, I don't think it's likely to happen but hey if it does that will be great for the future of the Phins. If it doesn't happen I am still confident enough in Harrington that I feel we have a QB for at least the next few years between the two of them so all in all it's not a bad situation to be in.

I think our biggest problem right now lay with our recievers and our O-Line. I think we need a standout #1 reciever on this team! I mean Welker and Booker are both having breakout seasons without that big threat of a Chad Johnson or a Steve Smith to help them. Could you imagine how explosive this offense would be if we had a #1 the caliber of these guys?

I disagree. The biggest problems with our team is the left side of the line, shut down corner, OLB, and youth on defense. Receiver is pretty far down on the list as far as I'm concerned. Can you imagine what this offense of Chambers, Brown and C-Pep could do with some great protection?

We need a new left side for the o-line, an outside linebacker and some younger defensive lineman but as far the shut down corner goes you can't just go out and get one you will need to have to draft a corner and develop him. I think Will Allen has a done a good job this year and will only get better and have a young secondary. C-Pep is garbage and I do not want to see him ruin this team's season again next year and for them to draft a qb or stick with Harrington because C-Pep is not the answer.

C-Pep made the o-line look bad. C'mon those sacks on him were not their fault, they were his and his lack of mobilty. He is what he is, a bad QB with out Moss.

I found myself shaking my head in agreement with this post all the way to the Culpepper statement. Come on man, he was just as good as Joey is doing now and that was with TERRIBLE protection and one knee. If you're going to throw out a guy after 4 games, a lot of guys who have made great careers, wouldn't be in the league still. With an improved line and healthy knee, Pep will be just fine.

You're right about Will Allen, I'm very pleased with him. But I would like to draft a guy who can create turnovers and make plays on the ball in the air. Allen would be an OUTSTANDING number 2 with either Daniels or Goodman at the nickley spot.

And Moss is just shining amongst the stars without Pep too huh?

He doesn't need Randy Moss. He needs an OL suited for his style of running, and currently, the OL isn't built for that. It was mostly C-Pep, but the OL needs some blame.

right now the thing that anyone should be mad a culpepper for now is lying to Saban about his knee. it is obvious now that he was not ready. but be mad at that culpepper, not the one that will come when he is healed

OL is our biggest problem and hopefully we shall adress it this offeason to hel our QBs.

He didn't lie, he just felt that he was ready.

well o lines also can't block for 15 minutes while daunte stands there and enjoys the scenery

I'm not a believer. He'll need a top 5 O-line, and a two top receivers and he may have a chance. Other than that, there's no reason to think he'll do any better than he has in the last two years. I really hope we draft a QB finally this offseason.

Not only Moss, but Cris Carter, Jake Reed and Robert Smith were other explosive weapons Culpepper had at his disposal in Minnesota. We don`t have those type of playmakers here unfortunately, and if he`s going to have any success again, he better learn to make quicker decisions and unload the football.
