Like most of us I wanted Peyton Manning. But now that Ship has sailed and I'm ready for Flynn. One of the complaints over the past years was with all the new coaches and schemes we had to keep installing new offenses. Flynn has 4 years in philbin's. All I've read says he is smart. It could be a big advantage to have a QB that already knows the system to work with the Wrs/rbs now ahead of otas. So I will trust Philbin if this is the guy he wants to be ties to. Phins Up
 
I'm all in as well. A part of it may be desperation, however I still believe he is our best option at this point. He already knows the system and terminology. Further, I wouldn't think the contract will be anything close to Kolb's.
 
I'm ok with it as long as it is a cap friendly deal. If he doesn't work out then we will be drafting high next yr and with the extra 3rd pick we have some ammo to move up if need be to snag one of the top QB's. I think we also need to sign Anderson (pass rusher) so that we can devote the draft to the offense. I think Philbin has a vision of the type of offense he wants to run and he will use the draft to reshape it.
As far as this yr, I would still like to see the FO draft a young QB in the 3rd rd (Osweiler, Cousins etc)

Hell yea bro, im ready too, the Flynn/Philbin era is upon us! If this kid can prove that his 2 starts are legit, we got a franchise player on our hands. AFC East better watch out!

Seems too only make sense coaching wise that he should come in with us, as long as his money is right. Hope we can make it happen.
