In the very first week, we lost to the Steelers and I started a thread asking if it was too early to say "Wait until next year"

Man did I get bashed for that.. Now we've just completed week 5 and I see others saying the season is a bust and calling to let the youngins play, so we can build for next year..

But I liked what I saw on the field yesterday. Sure the team lost.. sure they shot themselfs in the foot with all the mistakes and it was very obvious they didnt stand a chance of winning..

With Joey being the new QB, he showed confidence and some real leadership out there... I was totally impressed with what he did and I felt he is a better QB (after one game) than DC is after 4 games..

Next week we go up against the Jets.. they got blown out this weekend and they will be looking to get back on track, but if Saban and the Dolphins can keep their heads up and hold a positive outlook, I foresee us winning the next 2 games and going into Chicago looking to upset them..

For the last 5 games, we havent lost to a better team, we've lost to ourselfs and if we can correct some of the mistakes, the season isnt over yet... For the first time all year, I believe we can bounce back and next weeks game will hold the balance of the season... If we lose against the Jets.. this team is done for the year.. However if we win and win big (which I think we will) then this team will be looking to make for a playoff run...

Agreed with most of what you had to say except for that upset of the Bears in Chicago, right now I am dreading watching that game.

I'm not sure what I am dreading more about that game.....the score or the fact that the Bears are going to be wearing their hideous orange jerseys (a while back there was a link on here about when teams would wear their alternate jerseys, and this was the game listed for Chicago).

Here's hoping.

If we dont beat Chicago... they can easily go 16-0 this year..

Go Dolphins!!!

I happen to agree %100. Even though we lost yesterday I came away from that game feeling better than our other losses. I dont know why because a loss is a loss but we seem to have played a lot better then our other games, including our only win against the Titans.

I kinda agree with what you are saying. The only thing I don't agree with in your statement is: Why after 1 game and a game where we didn't play all that bad would you put up a thread stating "Is it too early to say Wait untill next Year .To Me that doesn't make alot of sense. And a lot of people on this site has given up on our team But alot of people Haven't.
