It's been a while but I am back and all I can say is....what is wrong with you Yankees fans? Where is the Yankees thread, I mean man, the Mets have a thread and we don't? I guess I'm gonna have to be the voice of reason and start a Yankees thread. Anyways it's good to be home, I look forward to talking sports with you guys (and girls) throughout the year. Anyways baseball starts tonight.....LETS GO YANKEES!

I actually enjoyed last years debates and for the most part it was done in a mature manner. Either way if you don't want to post in the Yankees thread, don't. I don't mind any Red Sox fans coming in there to chime in with an opinion on the Yankees. Most of the Red Sox fans I encountered on here were just sticking up for their teams just like I did as a Yankees fan. At the end of the day, I looked at it like healthy debates and if the Red Sox or Yankees are beating the other I don't think there anything wrong with letting your biggest rival know what's up. I think there was immaturity from all parts but I never felt anyone crossed a line or anything. I took a lot of the back and fourth as just simple teasing and just think that's what happens when you have two people on opposite sides of the biggest rivalry in sports. It's easy to hate your biggest rivals when you see them 20 times a year!

Very well said and I couldn't agree with you more. I think everyone acted immature a bunch of times last year however I enjoyed the debates and trash talking a lot and the good debates outweighed the bad ones. I do hope it continues because baseball is a very long season and it is fun to talk to other fans even if you don't agree with what they say.

Mike please post in both threads.. As much as we differ in opinions on certain topics, there is no denying that you are an very above average fan of most all sports we follow.. I had a great time in the other sports forum last year even though i didn't find it till most of the year was over and FaninPatsland hit me with a PM :wink: :wink: .. Although I missed the Clement vs Johnson tirade, I can't wait to talk some baseball with all fans..
